You can try out Noggin.com, my now four yr old as loved it for years. It games you can play together, and even print off coloring sheets.

You could bake together or do some arts and crafts....
-Playdough is really easy to make (cooking required).
-Home made tamborins- paper plate folded and filled with a little dry rice/ beans/ or other various iteams that will rattle, and then staple or tape the side of the plat together and decorate.
-Blocks/legos, create a house or car, or castle.
-Fortune tellers- these work from toddler to big kids, just changing level of design. ( remember these anybody?)
You fold the paper into a even square, fold and tear off excess, un fold and refold in opposite direction to form an 'X' in the center of page. Next, you fold the corners into the center so that all four meet in. Turn the paper over and fold the corners into the center again. This should allow you to have four finger pockets(two for each hand). The last step is to add a different color to each individual leaflet on the outside, 2 numbers to each of the fold downs on the inside, and a simple fortune under each number for the youngster. With that young of age, just pick simple colors, red/ white/ blue/ pink, ect. Simple #'s Like 1, 2,. 3, 4. and fortunes like, 'Tomorrow it will be sunny!' or 'You will still have fun today with mommy!' or even ' We will have pizza for dinner!'

Have fun and good luck!

Above comments; "Play in the Rain" just some old clothes/shorts and have fun. Have towels by the back door to dry off when you come in, may want to turn the A/C off too. Also, inside try Camping with Snacks and Fishing. Take a Blanket and some chairs to build your Tent. IF, you have a small fishing pole, set up a box or something and clip a weight on, no hooks, and try casting the weight into the box.

Tie sponges to your feet, put on music and skate on the kitchen floor.

Pull out the leaf in your table (if it's sturdy enough) and use it as a slide, just stack some pillows under it.

Play hide and go seek.

Dance to music.

Paint something

Make paper bag puppets

Make some popcorn and watch a movie on the bed.

Make Indian headdresses and cowboy hats out of construction paper and play cowboys and indians.

Do a Dora or Diego explorer map. Draw out parts of the house and call it "living room sofa jungle" and "swamp pillows" etc., then let him find a treasure at the end. In fact, he'll probably help you make the map with colors.

Wow, the list goes on lol

Have him go play in his room, or color. here is a website I found

Explore. Baby-proof an entire room and put an assortment of toys and safe household objects in the room to play with.

Watch. Hang a bird feeder outside a window where the child can see the birds and squirrels.

Listen. Play music at a moderate volume and encourage your child to sing and dance.

Touch. Toddlers like to dig, scoop and mold, exercising their emerging fine motor skills. Provide some play dough or a bowl half filled with beans, and cups for scooping.

Splash. Let your child play in the bathtub. However, never leave you child alone even for a minute when he or she is in the tub.

Look at Books. Read a book or just look at the pictures with your child. Try to have some books that are unfamiliar so they will hold your child’s attention.

Bag it. Let your child unpack and repack a suitcase or tote bag with toys or safe household items.

Sleep. Help your child develop a good sense of naptime and bedtime habits.

Help. Since toddlers like to be where the action is, let them play alongside you while you work. Think creatively about how your child can help you with a task.

Find a Friend. Trade babysitting time with other parents of toddlers so your child can experience being with other children. This interaction will contribute to healthy development.

Maybe a day at the mall would be fun. You could get ice cream or another special treat. Sometimes just watching other people in the mall can be entertaining, but I don't know if it would be for a 2-year-old.

Hope you find something to do. If you're kid was a little older, I'd suggest bowling. That's a fun indoor thing to do.

Take liquid hand soap and add food coloring. fill the tub full of water and put your child in and then "paint" on the walls and the tub. I don't recommend painting on skin, it does stain slightly. However, I have never had trouble washing off the walls (not painted) or having fun for an hour or so. You can use your fingers to paint or paint brushes. My kids love this at bath time. They paint all over then I give them wash clothes (the color washes out) to wash off the walls and they laugh at the color of the bath water when they are done. Good Luck and have fun.

Get some boxes and some glue. You cut the peices and help him glue them together and make a sculpture. Maybe a replica of the eifflel tower or the Captiol building, Big Ben.

With a cut up box my daughter made a maze for her hampster. That was 2 hours of indoor fun.

Take a nap. Try watching TV. You may also wish to rediscover some old toys. Or have your son ask some questions here on Answers.

Had that problem today...my husband and I promised our 3 year old 1 week ago that we would take her to Adventureland (outdoor rides)...it poured out today and she remembered. We changed our plans to an aquarium and Chuck E Cheese for dinner. She enjoyed herself immensley!
