bugaboo strollers or even a brand new SUV to tote the baby around in?
I cant buy any of those things, but want to.
I sometimes get jealous that they have those things.
Like this one lady in Winners, who was buying lots of clothes for her baby and she had an expensive *** stoller!
She was younger than me!
How do these ppl afford it?
When I saw her outside she was driving a newer SUV and I could never afford it!
How do these ppl afford things?

My brother had never married this girl but they have a 2 year old daughter together and she is pregnant with another kid who will be here in a couple weeks (i know he has made some mistakes, but that is not what we are talking about). Do you know of any websites that i can use to see what rights he has with these children. The mother has been on drugs in the recent past and may still be. Neither parent can afford a lawyer or go to court. The dad is deffinitly the more fit parent! He has an older daughter (with another mother) who is 6 that he has custody of. She is doing great with her dad, but would love to have her baby sister around. The mother had taken the 2 year old and hasn't let us see her since last Christmas (maybe a few short occasions after that). Her mom is threatening change her last name and many other things. She has told the government that she doesn't have a job so my brother is paying alot of childsupport. but she has told us that she does have a job.

go smash his head on the floor, wall, nearest toy. I have never shown him ths, he just does this himself.
Or he will put his fingers in his mouth and scrape them with his teeth.
I am getting really worried about the head banging, because when he smashes his head he SMASHES his head, no lil thump either.
He is two.

I was talking with my husband about this topic the other day and was wondering what other people think. We spent our teen years in Germany. There the legal age to drink was sixteen (really, if you could see above the bar you could drink). The legal age to drive was eighteen. I think this is a great idea that would be great for America as well. I know very well that if you are legally able to drink, go to bars, and live a “party” lifestyle when you are younger--it wears out of your system, therefore, when you are able to drive, you already understand the effects of alcohol and aren’t tempted to drive under the influence--meaning less DUIs and DWIs. Also, like I said before, it wears the whole “party” lifestyle out of you--so when you do reach about eighteen you no longer have interest in participating in those acts. As parents, do you think this is a good idea. Do you think if we gave our children more freedom with alcohol it would result in less outrageous adults and drastically lower the DUI statistics? What do you think about the topic of drinking and teens? Also--why do we empower teens with half ton vehicles before they are able to drink?

I have a one year old who will be going with the babysitter very soon. My babysitter is a friend of the family- a sweet stay at home mom in her early 40s. She will be babysitting my son for about 9 hours twice a week because of my work schedule. I'm afraid it may be awkward if I offer her too little or too much. Her husband is making a very healthy living for her and her family, so I know that money is not a huge issue, but I would like some suggestions on how much to offer her per week (2 days a wk/ 9 hrs a day)? Please help! And for any smart @$$e$ who like to go around and leave dumb comments- don't bother answering because whatever you say is just a waste of space!

Hi, I have twin 11-year old daughters and one is a full 12 pounds heavier than the other. Now, she doesn't seem to have any issues with her weight outwardly, but I feel it needs addressing. Having said that, I don't want to introduce a level of self conciousness where none exists, but I am just not sure. She is active and self confident, but has an excessive amount of belly flab that just hangs over the tight little shorts and sticks out of the 1 size too small shirts she wears. I mean it's a real "hanging over the waistband" roll that embarasses me when I see it exposed in public. Is that horrible of me? The only thing I have said is, "do you need me to buy you some clothes that fit?" I'm just confused on what to do, if anything. There's more to the story, but I am running out of available characters. I would welcome some open discussion and/or advice from anybody willing to lend an ear. Thanks!

It is always the same when they are around. My husband is always uptight because he has to constantly correct his kids, who talk back and lie to him. Last night my husband and his 16 yr old boy got into a fight because the boy didn't want his father correcting his 14 yr old sister.
The boy calls his Dad an idiot to me. I can't stand to be around cuz they are so direspectful. They treat their mom the same but she doesn't seem to care. I have been with their Dad since they were 8 and 10, and I never thought it would be like this. I don't know what to do.

I know that oftentimes, before getting married or being involved in a relationship with someone where a child could be the outcome, you are supposed to discuss certain issues. My question is, if marriage is a possibility, do you advise discussing child rearing methods with your bf/gf, before having children together or getting married? Like methods of discipline, whether or not to breastfeed, etc? For those who already have children, if you knew then what you knew now, would you have discussed it more, and would you advise discussing it in depth before having a child with that person? Or, do you feel that these things can be discussed after entering married life? Isn't there some worry that if you discuss these issues with the person you're in a relationship with, it could possibly cause a breakup or the ending of the relationship if the views differ too much?

I am already 18 yet my parents still don't want me to have a girl-boy relationship. The problem is that I had disobeyed them so many times, i had a lot of boyfriends when i was still in highschool but all of them are just puppy love but now i think i am really in love with this man aged 19, both of us are still studying in college. We dated secretly and I am so afraid that somebody who knows me might see us and will report to my parents about us..! i don't want to lose this guy because in him I feel secured and tHat I really feel his Love and sincerity to me..! what is the right thing that I am going to do.!

My parents can't understand me, especially my father,no matter how hard I tried to convince them that I will still focus on my study even if I have a boyfriend.

My five year old for some reason does not want to go to school. She wakes up in the morning and already starts with "i dont want to go to school". This is all i hear all morning long. She throws a fit to get dressed, brush her teeth, do her hair...the whole thing. Anything that has to do with getting ready for school she throws a fit about. And when I say throws a fit I mean is screaming and doing the whole i am not going to put my leg in the pants hole or put my shoes on. Then she won't eat breakfast. I tell her that she is still going to school even if she doesn't want to eat.

After 45 minutes of this, I take her to school. I have to walk her because the school is so close. So the entire way i hear "i don't want to go to school". She won't answer any questions you ask her, all she says is she don't want to go to school.

I walk her in her class room and the teacher always reassures me that alot of kids do this and it take sthem about six weeks to get used to it.

Hello.
Lately I`ve been stressed out by my little twindaughters ,age 9 months and 3 weeks. They`re not eating properly, just nibbling.I`m still brestfeeding both of them, but they are getting plenty of choice in solids as well. They used to eat almost everything what we were eating,95% is cooked from scratch(I do love cooking and so does my partner),then specially softened and blended for babygirls,so they can have. They`ve been having plenty of fruits.Everything was working for really reasonable period of time, actually from the start of feeding with solids. But what`s happening now. They are still quite active, they do all things what they are supposed to do.And I presume they`re burning quite a bit of their calories. And they should`ve been eating but instead they are just so playful.
Mums and dads, everyone who has common or known similar situation, pls give us some advice.
TNX!
