i was talking to my son about safe sex with his girlfriend... i was worried about her getting pregnant and he told me that he doesnt have to worry because he always "uses the tradesman's entrance"...

my son is only 11, and he certainly doesnt have any skills that would get him a job - which governmental body should i talk to about such a young child being employed??

My daughter has been potty trained for 10 months now. She goes to a babysitter monday -thursday. She has been wetting her pants everyday for three weeks now, just at daycare. The daycare lady has changed the routine in the home and wants the children to rest for 20 minutes a day. My daughter didn't like that idea, and this has been the result now for three weeks. Now, she takes naps and will rest. But continues to wet her pants for no reason. As soon as I pick her up at night and over the weekend, she is fine. This only happens there. Why is she doing this? What can I do? I have stopped "prizes" at the end of the week, and have taken toys away. And it does not help. I tell her if she is good she gets her toys back, but that hasn't happened yet.

the kids were gone to school this morning so my wife and i decided to get high since we both had the day off.

we were just finishing smoking when my 5 year old daughter walked in... she must have realized she forgot her lunch while she was walking to her kindergarten class.

at the time, i was pretty messed up so i really didnt know what to say to her, and i had eaten most of her lunch...

i dont want her to think her dad was stealing from her, so what should i tell her happened to her lunch?

I had super strict parents, couldn't talk on the phone to boys until 16, couldn't date till I was 16. I was scared of my parents of letting them down so I was a really good kid "UNTIL" I met my husband at 17 and I hurried up a married just to get out of the house. 14 years latere still happily married but I will not be that strict on my children, it ultimatly drove me from home at an early age.

My mother has 4 children ages: 27, 24 (me), 13 and 9.

My mother is 46 years old and has no grandchildren.

I have been married for two years (together for 5) and my husband and I are trying for our first baby.

I mentioned to my mother recently that we wanted to have a baby soon.

She said I should wait until I am 30 until I have my first child.

She said if I waited then my little brothers would be 19 and 15 and she could focus more on being a grandma.

How selfish is her excuse?!

Why should I wait to have children when she decided to have more kids in her mid-late 30’s?

She can still be a grandma and be a mother to teen boys!

My step-dad (raised me) said he would be happy to be a grandpa, and he is only 43!

What do you think about my mother’s excuse for not wanting grandchildren now?

P.S.
We have college educations, great careers, a home that is nearly paid off, and plenty of money. We are happily married and no parents have helped us with it all.

My wife and I are leaving for our vacation on the 6th of October and we're leaving our son at home. My wife works out of the house and so she's around to cook all the meals every day so we're not used to having to buy frozen meals. We're only going to be gone for 2 weeks so we'll need about 15 different meals that are easy enough for our 5 year old son to make in the microwave. Is there anyone with kids who can give us a good list of foods like these that they've tried?

my daughter is three and it's always a battle to get her to take a nap, but once I get her to sleep she'll sleep for two hours. I know my ten month old has to get a nap every day or she's grumpy, should it be the same for a three year old?

Both of my girls have been/are. My first daughter used to sneek into the bathroom to tear up rolls of toilet paper. I found her one time under a mound of torn up toilet paper. Now my second daughter who is ten months loves to tear up toilet paper too. She doesn't eat it just loves to rip it up into tiny pieces to spread from one end of the house to the other. Is this common or are my children strange? ^.~ Finding them covered in tiny pieces of toilet paper does make for cute pictures.

Also I need some gift ideas. I dont want a bunch of crappy toys either that are going to accumilate. I am more interested in good quality toys, things that are going to be worth the money. Already have tons of whatever toys and I dont want to buy junk.
Any ideas?

My mom always says don't take the baby in the night air w/out his blanket and a hat no matter the time of year or the state you live in, but I sleep with my window open. I'm 34 with 2 kids and I still don't get why she says that or where she got it from can someone clarify it or do you agree?

Ok, I live in an apartment right across the hall from me and my husband my aunt lives or lived she's moving. Every morning I normaly would get up and go over there with my 2month old son. Talk for a little bit and wake up and then come back home and start my day. Well about 3weeks ago I had just woke up. And I hear screaming kings and Queens. So I go next door with holding my son. My aunt had snapped. She was speaking in spanish one second english the next and who knows what the min after that. She only knows english. So I was a bit freaked. Went to my younger cousin room who is 16 asked her what was going on.She said her mom had been like this all morning. So I called maria a friend and she came over. Tried to get my aunt mary to go to the hospital. Mary then went out the door came back in and locked maria out. Mean while maria is calling 911. Mary was cutting pillow acting like a doctor and crazy sh*t. Well I was about to come home and she looks at me and says give me the baby.

This is just a fun questions for anybody that wants to answer it. Why do you only have that many? Would you have more if you could? I only have two and will not have anymore. I got pregnant with 5 in two pregnancies and had a healthy baby out of both of them. Thought I would stop with a boy and girl. Not much left after that.

She has an 8 year old daughter that still sucks her thumb...she would like to know any suggestions you guys may have on getting her to stop and soon as it is really messing up her teeth. They have tried the gross tasting stuff, tape on fingers...rewards when she has gone a day without sucking...and other stuff as well...she doesn't suck it in school or around friends...just at home...in the car...any suggestions on this problem.

My great great grandparents and great grandparents had like between 6 and 10 kids. Why then did my grandparents and parents only have 3 each? And why do the majority of people today think even if they want more that they can only have 2-3 kids?

I have 4 children: 2 teens, a 3 yr old, and 1 yr. old. I work two jobs, morning and afternoon, get home about 5:30. My husband drives truck so his schedule is never the same. At 5:30 I have to get supper ready, usually 2 meals because the little ones need something different, then housecleaning, laundry, homework, baths, etc. I know you'll say "the housework can wait", but it really can't. I have a family of 6 and it gets out of control fast. But then I have 2 babies in daycare that I see a few hours in the evening during the rush of everything. They do help with the chores even though they're babies, it takes more time but they're with me. My husband and I really can't work less hours because we have to pay bills. We do have the kids with us most of the time we're home, evenings and weekends. Is this enough? Am I just feeling guilty for nothing, or do we need to do something different, and what? So far I'm just tired, stressed and rushed. I don't think that's good for the kids.
