I don't think you can be too careful when it comes to your children. She has three, i'm sure she would completely understand. If you wanted to mention it to her, I would say defiinitely do, but it's your child that you are concerned with, if anyone had an objection, I would be worried. Always be on top of things when it comes to the safety of your children, besides who else will protect them if not for us?

I wouldn't run it through the DMV, that will only tell you whether she's a good driver or not. I would check with your local sheriff's department and find out if they have a criminal background as well. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Yes. There are plenty of online instant background check sites. They generally cost around $40 for a background check on an individual. Criminal databases are also checked.

She's going to be partly responsible for your child,so go ahead and run a check on her. Does she have to know? If she's a loving mother, she would do the same if the situation was reversed and she needed someone to pick up her kids.

If the parent-of-3 is a friend then maybe not but if they are someone you don't know personally (even if parent is a friend-of-a-friend) then yes definitely check them out.

I would. Someone who is caring for my child definitely needs to be checked out.

Go for it, hun.
It's better to know her history.
For all you know, she could be a sex offender or something.
Probably unlikely as a mother of 3, but you never know.
It's always better to be on the safe side.
She could have a DUI history, etc.
And she'll never know if you check up on her.
So there's no harm done.
Go for it. :)
