Our baby is a pretty smart child for a 10 month-old and she acts much older in lots of ways, including her emotions. She exerts her emotions well, including anger, and lately has started throwing tantrums. We hadn't prepared to deal with this behavior so early and don't know how to stop or control it. Serious advice only please....

I guess at some age you stop, but maybe never? Does age matter?
PS I'm asking after reading this article:

Have you ever forgot your baby or kid somewhere? I never have but being a new Mom I'm always extra extra careful, but every mom has their moments. It's my worst fear that it will happen to me one day. Any stories you want to share?

that made you say, Wow, this is a great kid. Your last proudest moment, when you said to yourself, whether the child is 6 months, 6 years or 60 years, I like this kid?

Occasionally my two boys 7 and 9 get out of control. They start taunting each other and get louder and more aggressive with each other. They feed off each other's energy and usually one of them ends up getting hurt or upset. At these times they do not listen to me an start talking over me, saying, "It wasn't me!" or "He pushed me first and hurt me." and so on. Any suggestions as to how I can redirect their energy into more positive forms of play. I do not believe in hitting.

I say its more like a 1000 as a friend I know who makes about 75 grand and year and pays 900 a month.
The father of my son is being a real asshole.

My son is so picky with food, if something is even the wrong shape than what he is used to he will not try it.
I have tried to tell him this is what your eating, eat it or go hungry, but he is so determind that the food is gross that he works himself up and ends up throwing up. The only things he will touch are hot dogs and hamburgers, I want him to at least try new foods. Not even gross food, just normal stuff like tacos and fruit. His dad thinks he should be fed what ever he wants to eat, since that is how he chooses to eat. Should I just let this go and continue feeding him what he wishes? Will he grow out of this? Or is there a way to get him to try different things without him getting sick?
