The 21 years old should be out , and helping you with some of this , the teenager , well it's worse than a boy teenager in some cases , but just get as close to her as you can , the baby is so small what a joy .The ages are far enough that the situations can be open enough to give you room .Relax ask the 15 year out to help .Or hold the 5 month old and tell him what wrong ,He'll listen with all his heart . I would have changed places with you in a minute when all 6 of mine where under 14 years old ! The oldest moved out at 19 after school and now the youngest is 19 and on her own , And I often hide by family and friends not to babysit grand children. I'm babied out . Their cute as long as they go home ! Once in awhile I'll keep one over night , but it seems I enjoy being alone now .Bet you can relate to that .LOL

21 and 15 isn't too bad, only six years. But to have a 21 year old and a 5 month old kid is bad, that's even farther apart than the oldest and youngest in Cheaper By The Dozen!

Heck I have a 29, 24, 22 and a 3 1/2 yr old! My friends thought I was crazy starting over again. Look at it this way, you'll have a different prospective on life because you see it through your children's eyes in a different way. Word of caution, don't use your daughter as a built in baby sitter.

I did a paper on birth order in college... when children are 7+ years apart they have only child tendencies. I don't think they are too far apart. If anything your daughter would be a big help I would think.
they say an ideal age space for siblings is 3 years.

No, age doesn't matter with children... your 21 year old son is matured and moved out (id hope) your daughter is mature (or should be) enough to handle a new sibling, and the newborn is in a loving household with an expirenced mother.

LOL what does it matter, its not like your going to put any of them back and space them out differently.. althoguh, honestly i question you - you say you have a 21 year old son, yet you post questions about farting in cans and "chicken butts", i dont think your old enough to have a 15 year old daughter, much less a 21 year old son..

no, You have a built in babysitter with your 15 year old. They will probably not be as close as if they had been born closer together, but they are siblings and will watch out for each other nevertheless. You have had some good time with each child between children. Congratulations!

no you are not crazy. our kids were 10 and we had 2 more after the Dr. said we couldn't. you had the baby for a reason and only GOD knows why it happened that way, but its OK and normal. i see alot of people who have kids in their teens and have babies.they may be far apart in age but not heart. take it from me definitely get your son around little ones his own age when hes walking and talking, that will help too or at least it did for me
