I read that a 62 year old woman had a baby. I think it is ridulous for someone that age to be having children. It is unnatural and only occurs because a woman choses to take so artificial hormones or something. It is very unfair to the child because their mother will probably be dead before they grow up. I wouldn't want to have a mother that old. How is a 77 year old woman going to handle a teenager? Who is going to care for the child when she if she dies? Her parents?? God put a limit on our reprodution for a reason and anyone past normal childbearing age is too old.

my sd was basically abandoned by her bio-mom. She sent her to live with her dad and me 3 years ago. Now we hardly hear from her. What is wrong with some people?? I don't understand how she could do this! My sd is 9 and is aware of what is going on around her but still insists that her "real mom" is going to come rescue her from us. How do we deal with this?

I have a next door nabour that has isolated her children from mine. She is moving to austrailia in a few weeks and has had her children immunized from the Pox but still being rude to the fact that my child was subjected to the pox. She has since talked to a friend of mine who is pregnant and another mother of a young child, she is scaring everyone I know about it. She has even gone so far as asking me what I do with my kids on days we are out and about so she knows not to go there. Im fed up with her attitude and general rudeness and a little unsure of if she has her facts right. She has talked to her kids and now they yell and my son who is just turning 3 too go away because he is sick. She is so pissed at me and all im trying to do is whats best for my family. What should i do or say to her? When is it contaigous? How do you contract it? What are the risks for her children when they have alredy been immunized? Please help because she is making my life as well as my sons hell.Any info!

My daughter is almost 17 months and we are expecting our next in about three weeks. Does anyone have children close together like this? Did you do anything to prepare the older child for the baby's arrival? What was your childs reaction to the baby?

I have found things that never bothered me before now really affect me emotionally. A simple example would be either a news story or movie where a kid is harmed. After reading something like that, I might have thought, "How horrible", but now I feel it in my heart.

Anyone experience the same? Especially dads?
