Their ever-present sense of wonder and excitement, their imaginations and their ability to just accept things at face value. It's so simple, yet something most of us adults have taken for granted and have long since forgotten about...

I admire that my son is strong enough to stand up for himself. He is in 6th grade, and he stood up against several bullies during the first 1/2 of the year. After a few righteous suspensions, he was no longer picked on by those kids. That takes courage I never had.

Good question.. I would say the way they adapt to whatever is going on. They are very easy to change path and be confident in trying the new thing. I admire them most for loving me without holding life against me.

With my eldest I admire his patience and kindness with other children and animals.
With my youngest I admire the way he has found self confidence and the ability to voice his views; he has come out of his brother's shadow.
And the way they have such a close bond with each other.

ohhh very good question!

My oldest boy his smarts and his kindness. He can't stand to see another person hurt (emotionally), even his brothers (who are the bane of his existence right now - he's 13). If they get in trouble or have a friend hurt their feeling he will go in and talk to them to cheer them up, even offer to do something with them.
My middle boy his sense of humor and his sweetness. I honestly have never met a kid that doesn't like Josh. Everybody wants to be his friend! And he loves babies, he has a 9 month old cousin and will play with her long after his brothers have gotten bored and walked away.
My youngest boy his friendliness and charm. He will play with anyone, at anytime. He loves all kinds of play, from sports to coloring. He is very easy going.

The way they make you smile with the silliest things after such a long stressful day at work.

Nothing is better than hearing my 18month old jabber away in her own language (probably telling me about her exciting day) when i get to the sitters to pick her up. I light up EVERY time!

They always know the right things to say, even if we dont understand 100% of it! :)
