Just have her wear little undershirts.... she mite not understand bras yet and if you dont want to have that talk ..... just buy her some pretty undershirts, and have her wear them every day.... deal with the bra thing when shes like 11 or so. Thats what my mom did with me.... i was very small and thin but had the same thing going on with the top part of me........ and my mom was not ready for the bra thing ether.... undershirts are just fine.

Sorry kiddo, but whether YOU are ready or not is not of importance.
If you seem to think she's developing breast buds (are you SURE they're not just small masses of flesh due to possible weight gain?), then it is your responsibility as a parent to make sure she's adequately dressed and prepared. You might start off with snug fitting undershirts for girls.

The fact of the matter is that girls are developing sexually are younger ages; the average girl is getting her period before her 12th birthday nowadays. Breast buds _usually_ develop by the age of 9-10, but there is no hard & fast rule.
You might also consider taking her to her doc and getting a complete physical. Discuss your concerns with him/her and maybe have some bloodwork done - there might be some sort of hormonal imbalance occurring that needs to be addressed.

I can only give advice from when I got my first bra. I was in the sixth grade...that was "junior high" for me and started to grow. I don't think she would be growing breasts at 7 though. Give it some time and if they seem to be swelling more, get that girl a bra...hang in there..

Wow 7 seems young. I was 11 when I got my first bra. But kids these days are developing earlier and earlier. It could very well be time for her to get her first bra.

Is she overweight? Heavier kids usually show sooner. If in doubt, go to a department store and ask for a woman to help with a bra fitting. Ask that woman what she would suggest. Its hard for you to think about, but it will be harder on her if she needs a bra and gets teased because of her chest.

when you start seeing bumps where there were none then it is time for a training bra. sry babies grow up too fast these days i know my 8 year old is wearing them for the same reason and i am fighting her dad all the way he says she's not old enough but i say she is.

It is not the question if you are ready, it is if she is redy.Training bras do not help at all, they just teach a girl wut it is like to wear a bra. When they get a little bigger, you can try sports bras.
