You can't "make " them interested in music or hobbies. That's something that comes to us by nature.Watch for them to show signs of interest then make materials or music available to them and be supportive. If the child doesn't show interest in something and you assume or hope they will be interested, you could end up spending a lot of money and end up with a frustrated child!

after 2 years of age...kids start showing their ineterests....u cant ask them for their hobbies. hobbies by definition is the favourite past time a human being chooses when free...so u cant make a child do something. u should alwz let him be exposed to the options he can choose from..like drawing, music, pets, garden...see his interests n let him enjoy his time till say 5 or 6 when u can ask him to excel further n lay his demands

my son started basketball skills group and my daughter in dancing and they did swimming when they were just about to turn 5. As long as it is about fun and not competive this is a good age. I'm waiting till they are 8-9 for competitive sports

I THINK THAT THERE IS NO BEST TIME. JUST LET YOUR CHILD FIND THERE OWN THING THAT THEY WANT TO DO THAT YOU APPROVE OF. MY SON IS SIX AND HE IS A VERY TALENTED ARTIST FOR HIS AGE. HE INTERESTED IN A LOT OF OTHER THINGS BEFORE HE REALIZED THE ART IS WHAT HE LOVES. ALL I'M SAYIN IS DON'T PUSH AND IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT INTERESTED IN SOMETHING JUST TRY A SUGGESTION. SOME TIMES SUGGESTION CAN LEAD INTO SOMETHING LONG TERM.

dont make your kids get interested, you should just spend time with them and see what they like, and if its something they do every day. then it would be eaiser to know what is best for your children , dont ever push them into somehting they dont like.
