Once, I was at the pharmacy, I set the infant seat down, next to me when I was standing at the counter, got my prescription, tucked my insurance card in my purse, turned, and walked right out the door.
I got about halfway out the door, realized I forgot something, and ran back for my baby, but I will never forget the looks on the faces of the cashiers.....

Nope, but I saw this story about a woman who left her newborn in sears for over an HOUR! I have never been left anywhere and I think my fiance said something about being left at a grocery store once.
I don't think I will EVER forget my child, she is too noisy! LOL! If I forget her, it will be on purpose. LOL! J/K, I meant like when I leave her at my mom so I can have some peace and QUIET for about an hour! LOL!

I haven't. My wife sorta did. We have two girls close in age. The 4 year old fell asleep on the way home and wife had to get in a bunch of groceries from car. (the car was parked in a private locked and climate controlled garage.) After she did the groceries, neither child was to be seen; mom thought they were playing in their rooms.... Until I got home. I asked where she was.... She was still sleeping in the car 30 minutes later.
Freaked my wife out, I found it amusing.

I did forget to take my 1 year old daughter back home, after spending an evening at my parents house. We had reached home, when we realised it. I called my mom to tell her, we are coming back for her, mom said she was alseep and not to worry, get her in the morning. That was the only one time.

I have been forgotten by my grandpa in the bakery. He would always go alone, but this one time he had to take me, while he was buying whatever he met his friend and started to chat and left. I was there for like 45 min. But small cities they knew my grandpa, so when he arrived home, my grandma was fuming and made him go back get me.
It didn't traumatized me though, I even got free ice cream while I waited

No, and when some do, they usually wind up on the news for having a lost child or a dead one. Some people are just not fit if they can't keep an eye out for their attachments!

I never have. I heard some ladies talking about forgetting their baby in the car while they ran into walmart though. That was kind of disturbing. Bad parenting skills on their part.

Well, My son had went to preshcool and my husband and I had a misunderstanding on who is going to pick up my son from school. for some reason I thought he was going to get him. And, my husband thought I was going to get him. And when the pre schoolers were going home my son was the last to leave. The school called the list of people I had as emergencies. And, The school thought something happened to us. they were worried this never had happend to us. So, The school called my mom and my mom called me at work telling me that my son was left at school. I was so Up set. I felt so horrible as a parent. The next day I droped my child at school I had to apolazied to the School and they were like don't worry this never happend to you guy's and you are alway's on time to pick up your child. So from that day my husband and I made sure that one of us was going to be their. And, My son was just fine. they fed him lunch and they played some games with him to make sure he wasn't going to get upset.
