day care is very damaging for a year old. the price you pay will be a lessening of attachment between every member of your family. your child's health will be compromised, your child's intelligence will be hurt, your child's social skills will be hurt.
don't put a one year old in day care. it is torture for them. they need to be with their mommies and when mommy puts them with strangers instead, the baby learns - oh, mommy wants me to feel this awful. sorry, it's true.
please, love your child, treat your child the way you'd like to be treated. do whatever you can to avoid institutionalizing your child. you owe your child.

Location is number one for pricing, if your child is attending a public or private daycare is another. If you child is attending a center or home as a drop in or hourly rate vrs full time will also change your rates. Florida, for my 1yr old I pay $112 - 120 depending on the provider for each 5 day week 10 hr day full time care. For daily rate as a drop in I would have to pay $30 - 40 per day up to 10hrs day.

The best way to accurately assess your child care tuition is to call several day cares in your area. Call everywhere within your driving range. That will give you an idea of cost in your area.
Nationwide, for a 12 month old child, price can range from $40 per week to $250 per week. It all depends on the average wage and availability of day care in your area.

I would assume that it depends on what area you live in. I'd call around the daycares in your area and ask for the rates..then take the average of them. I work at a daycare and it does seem costly but I know that other daycares in my area charge even more than us.

It depends on the area. The younger they are the more expensive because they have to have people taking care of changing the diapers. One of the day care centers here in Washington state is about $800 a month for full time

I think it depends on where you are located. I paid $2.00 an hour when my daughter was a year old. Later when I ran a daycare I charged $1.50 an hour or we would set a weekly rate depending on how many hours they were here. Most people in our small town will not pay more than $2.00 an hour for childcare.

I paid $125 per week, but I have seen it as high as $200. If you find someone in your church or neighborhood that you trust that has a Daycare you could find it for as low as $20.00 per day. That's my 2 cents.

That varies from state to state , Wi $ 200 a week for one child , with meals and $ 6 every 15 minutes your late . Very high for child care I think . Most people min. wage have to get state aid for child care . . they take home less than day care makes .
