What do you think about women donating their eggs, in order to give another woman a chance to have children?

I have been seriously thinking about it, and I just wanted to know some thoughts or suggestions....maybe hear from someone that has actually done it.

Hi,

Please go thru it and give us a valuable advice.

My husband and me are looking to adopt a girl child,who is of about 3 to 4 years.
The main reason for adopting a kid is that I am 34 years old and my husband is
40 years old.

we both were divorcees and i have no kids from the previous marriage,
and my husband had 2 boy kids,who are of 9 years and 5 years old now.
They both are staying with their mother and she does not want to give the kids to my
husband.

we would like to seek the advice, whether this is the age for us to conceive now also
what we are thinking is whether can we grow the child properly, as we become aged,before they get
settled in life, assuming that if they are 25 ,my husband will be of 65 and me about 60 as
we are better aware that the average life span is reducing.so,what will u suggest,
is it better to conceive of our own or to adopt a girl child of about 3 to 4 years.

Dads, when your wife/partner was pregnant with first baby, how did u deal with it? What were your thoughts and fears and did u find it completely different once the baby was here? For instance, did u think that it would be harder with a newborn than it actually was, or worse? did u have to give up all your interests or did u manage to find a balance around work/play/family? My partner is a little freaked out at being a first-time dad in 10 weeks so im trying to get some info from experienced dads - thanks

i have just baked fairy cakes with my 2yr old for the first time and it made me realise how lucky i am to have him in my life when so many women cannot get pregnant at all! he is gorgeous and an overwhelming love washed over me for first ever time(had severe post-natal depression since his birth)and i nearly cried!

I was told two days ago that I am having a little baby boy... I am so super excited but I dont want to get a lot of boy stuff yet... I am scared that when I deliver it will be a girl and I will have all boy things for her!

The tech told us right off the bat it looked like a boy... then she got him to open his legs and there was a little thing poking out in between... I know this sounds like a penis.... but I have heard it could also be the labia swollen...

I am 16 1/2 weeks - any advice? should I just believe it is in fact a boy?

Last night I was cleaning from under my bed and I found a really nasty bottle that got missing like 2 days ago I sat it on the dresser and I was going to go look for a trash bag, but my niece started squirming so I got in the bed and cuddled with her, but I went to sleep and whenever she wakes up for her late night feeding her bottle is in that spot on the dresser, when we woke up for good this morning... there were 2 bottles on the bed, I really dont remember if I gave it to her or not, but as of currently shes up playing and talking as usual, I fixed her some pedialyte just in case... Her mom is away on business and Im due to have a baby Apr 11, Im ashamed, really truly ashamed, but can someone anyone tell me what I could do?

Im a computer geek with no idea about this sort of thing and Im not good at patronising or treating people like their not right in the head. All I want to do is help but it blows up in my face.

I understand there are several rules when talking to someone who is pregnant i.e. talk to them about babies and pay allot of attention to the fact they are pregnant.

Im getting there but would love some pointers.

Like other things you should do like pretending to take a huge interest in how cute baby clothes.look and the old mistake of referring to babies as "Kids" and not "Children"

Ive also leaned not tell them you think their NOT fat cos it can make them paranoid.

My beginning of my last cycl was Jan 24 and I should be 8 wks pregnant. But I have been bleeding since week 5 and had cramping early on but am just lightly but steadily bleeding now. They thought I was miscarrying did ultrasound found nothing did blood hcg was 80. 4-5 days later another ultrasound nothing bloodwork 180. Four days later bloodwork 355. They thought it was ectopic went to ob/gyn yesterday and she doesnt think its ectopic.Ultrasound again still nothing. Im getting scared and docter thinks its inevitable for a miscarriage but isnt 100% sure. Docter ordered more bloodwork, might get results back today. Anybody got any insight or experience?
