Last night I was cleaning from under my bed and I found a really nasty bottle that got missing like 2 days ago I sat it on the dresser and I was going to go look for a trash bag, but my niece started squirming so I got in the bed and cuddled with her, but I went to sleep and whenever she wakes up for her late night feeding her bottle is in that spot on the dresser, when we woke up for good this morning... there were 2 bottles on the bed, I really dont remember if I gave it to her or not, but as of currently shes up playing and talking as usual, I fixed her some pedialyte just in case... Her mom is away on business and Im due to have a baby Apr 11, Im ashamed, really truly ashamed, but can someone anyone tell me what I could do?

Accidents happen, I'm sure she would not finish it if it tasted bad. She might get a tummy ache and diarrhea but she will survive! (Babies are made to do that)

I concur with the other responses. If you call a nurses hotline, they may have some tips on what you can do at home, but they will also advise that you should bring her in to be examined - they have to tell everyone this regardless of what you call for.

Keep the Pedialyte handy, Gatorade works a little better actually and is much more palatable. Water is fine.

All parents make mistakes. I once drove like 10 miles with my then 6 month-old (who had been screaming all night with teeth coming in) before I realized I'd forgotten to do his seatbelt up.

Don't beat yourself up, and congrats on your own baby :o)

First of all, dont beat yourself up! She was waking up at a late hour, youre pregnant so youre always tired, mistakes happen! My mother and I used to run a daycare outof our home, you wouldnt beleive what some parents do, remember parents are people too! They're not perfect!
If shes ok and her stomach doesnt seem to be bothering her she should be ok. keep giving her the petialyte and watch her closely. if shes old enough, give her some crackers. if she starts getting sick (vomitting, fussing, diarriha, etec) call her doctor and ask what you should do.

Call her pediatrician, the ask-a-nurse hotline, or even poison control. I honestly wouldn't worry too much though. If it was something that was spoiled her body would have purged it shortly after consuming it. Just keep an eye on her. And as far as being ashamed... we all make mistakes, and this one in the grand scheme of things isn't a big one. Congrats on your baby!

Chances are if she is up and playing and being active, then she didn't get the spoiled formula. They usually will get sick right after!
Don't feel bad....stuff like this happens to Mom's all the time. It won't be the last time you make a goof! Learn now that it is OK. Do the best you can!

Not much you can do if she drank it she should be throwing up, the same as you if you drink bad milk. If that happens give her somthing to settle her stomach and keep her hydrated. unless it gets very bad then take to the dr.s or hospital but she should just get sick to her stomach. things like this happen to everyone. I almost drowned my baby once because I forgot to screw the top on the bottle tight and dumped it all over her. Kids are tough, don't get to upset.

Wait it out and don't panic. Watch her very closely and don't leave her alone. It should pass if indeed it was bad formula. If she starts to develop a fever and SEVERE diarrea.... start giving her lots of fluids and it may be a good idea to take her to a doctor.

Good luck and I'm sure she will be fine either way!

I think the worst that will happen is a case of diarrhea or vomiting. just watch her carefully and, if she seems off or not well, call her doctor. Don't beat yourself up. She'll be fine. :)
