I have heard that it is most difficult when you have your second child, and that the children after that are easier because they are used to sharing and having siblings. But when you have your second child, it is hard on the first child because they are used to being the only one. Have you found this to be true?

On January 12 I had unprotected sex witth this guy and ejucluated in me and I looked at an ovulation calendar on the internet and it stated that I was fertile on that day! I panic! 3 1/2 weeks later I made a appointment to PPH and the day before my appointment I came on my period. So I had to take a blood test to detect if I was pregnant! The results came back negative and I been coming on my period every month! I dont know why i keep thinking about it. When I went to go get my blood test the doctor said it would be to early to test because i didnt miss a period yet! Do you think It was to early! If I am pregnant I would be like 3 months. I have a little gut so i wouldnt really know any difference! I guess i should just get another test again!

Okay, I obviously won't be basing my final decision on this but I would just like some opinions as to whether we should stop at two kids or try for one more. We have two beautiful children that my husband and I adore. Our little boy is 7, and our daughter is 3. I am 28 and my husband is 32. We are very content with our family, but wonder how adding one more would be. My husband owns his own business and I am a teacher turned stay at home mom. We can afford a third child, but I wonder how three children changes the makeup of a family. How does my little girl who is now the baby feel as the middle child? Any opinions would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

A neighbor I know is pregant the baby is due in May. She afraid the child father will take the child and she will never get to see the baby if they go to court. I told her this. You must get a job right away. A good judge will look at that. You have to have income to take care of baby. She does suffer from depression prior this issue and just found out she will be eligible for Vocational Rehab (they help people disabled to look for work). I also told her the child father does work and he told you he will take care of the child. I told her it best to your advantage to get along with him. He is the breadwinner of the family. They don't live together but do live down the street. I also told her you also have anonther child that 6yrs. Any action you do toward him negative. They may take your child away because all she get is food stamps and medicare. I told her even if you work part-time that look better than not having no income at all. I told her she a counseling if you need to

I've miscarried twice since the birth of my last child who is now 6. I'm only 27 and would love to have more kids but I wonder if maybe my biological clock has run out or maybe that God is trying to tell me that two is enough for me. I'm also terrified to try again only to be disapointed and heartbroken. Any success stories or words of wisdom would be much appreciated!

when my sons hormones go up and I gotta worry about him with girls?

My first three children were closesly spaced and all planned. I had a heart condition and knew we wanted a big family so we really focused for a few years on building a family. Well, last May I gave birth to our third child and had heart surgery in June.
In October, we bought a 3 bedroom condo. It was the perfect size for our complete family. Less then a month later, I learned I was pregnant (unplanned)- and at my 7 week ultrasound (as fate would have it!) learned it was twins.
Well I am 22 weeks now, with identical boys. I need a few baby items however do not wish to have a shower. On the advise of a few family members I went ahead and registed for a double breast pump ($350) and another crib.
I have toddler girls and my son is 9 months.
So my crib is currently being used for my son. So I know we will need at least one more crib. I wanted to buy everything ourselves, but my family pressured me to register. I fear some friends and other family may think this is tacky. Opinions?

I've been feeling like I was going to start my period for about 2 weeks now (all PMS symptoms). Well, I'm not due to start until the 21st of March. I am sexually active. Our only form of birth control is withdrawal. Could this be pregnancy?

once you find out you are pregnant and either inform the school or start showing you are immediately removed from your regular school and placed in the pregnant girls one, you do not have an option, its either go to the special one or drop out. The advantages to this school are that once you have your baby they provide daycare free of charge for up to 15 months so that you can finish your education. In order to continue on with the program you MUST, no exceptions at all, return to classes within 2 weeks of giving birth, no matter what. I really have no concrete feelings about the school besides thinking the daycare portion of it is very nice, wondering what you guys think of it with the info I have given. You have all the info I have, I guess I may lean towards wondering why the girls can't stay at their regular school and then switch afterwards. Just curious on thoughts.

I am worried because I was reading about pregnancy at 25 weeks and it states that a baby at this age should be about an inch above your belly button, well, the way I'm shaped..(I'm a big girl) I have a pouch, and a belly so when I sit down the roll goes over the pouch. My baby is still in the pouch lower..and hasn't moved up in my belly (above belly button) what does this mean? what can I do?? Will my baby be okay? Please help.

I don't mind doing it at all, but her first child is only 18mo, and she is asking for a stroller, car set, etc, big items! I said yes but I can't afford to throw a shower and buy a big item gift too, our other friend thinks its a bit tacky as well, I love her and don't mind doing a small get together but she wants to invite all her friends and family again! And she suggested renting a hall! Like a said I don't mind throwing one just as a celebration (like at a park with a pavillion she's due this summer) but I don't think people will come and bring expensive gifts. am I wrong???

The New York Times, then CBS morning show, and Tuesdays Today show all talked about the connection between older paternal age and autism, schizophrenia and other genetic disorders in offspring. If you are familiar with this news does it make u want to complete your fathering of babies any earlier in life or maybe freeze semen now for later fathering?

I'm interesting in generating extra income. I came across this company at a recent baby expo called Discovery Toys.
They sell smart toys for baby and kids.

Anyhow, the startup kit is $99.. I was interested, but not without doing research first. Here's a link to their site.. http://www.discoverytoysinc.com/ Let me know if you would buy the products. That way I have a better idea of knowing whether this is the type of thing that would be worth trying to sell.
Thanks
