The New York Times, then CBS morning show, and Tuesdays Today show all talked about the connection between older paternal age and autism, schizophrenia and other genetic disorders in offspring. If you are familiar with this news does it make u want to complete your fathering of babies any earlier in life or maybe freeze semen now for later fathering?

I believe age may have something to do with it. My babies dad was 31 at time of conception and my daughter is autistic. However i do believe that a family history of developmental disablities or mental illnesses has more of an effect on the offspring than anything else.

There certainly could be a link. But My husband and I had our second child in our twenties and he's autistic.

There's a lot a factor s that contribute to Autism. My opinion is genetics and environmental.
