I've been feeling like I was going to start my period for about 2 weeks now (all PMS symptoms). Well, I'm not due to start until the 21st of March. I am sexually active. Our only form of birth control is withdrawal. Could this be pregnancy?

Could be but I wouldn't worry about it until your period has failed to arrive.

Sometimes having sex can disrupt your menstrual period. (many things can!) Believe it or not, it's kind of stressful on your "junk" down there.

However, having symptoms of a period (and especially without being on birth control pills) and not having your period could mean that you're pregnant, it could mean that you're GOING to have you period, or it could be something more serious. You should always have regular checkups to your gynocologist. If you don't go to one, and you are sexually active, you should think about setting up an appointment. So many girls get the HPV virus and that can lead to cervical cancer (I had some cervical dysplasia, which is sort of a "pre" pre-cancer.)

Probably not. If you were pregnant, and you have a normal length cycle, you would have gotten pregnant only about 7-10 days ago, and the egg would have only implanted in the uterus a few days ago, so if these symptoms started 2 weeks ago they are most likely not related to pregnancy, but could be from other hormone changes or stress. So eat some chocolate, put on some sweats and lay around the house!

I cannot believe withdrawl is your only form of birth control. You are bound to get pregnant sooner or later. Get the Nuva Ring. It is a BLESSING!

there is a slight degree of alarm with those symptoms-go to the gynecologist if your period doesn't come after like a week from when you are due for it.
