well this sounds like ur not mom but anyways i started at 13 or 14 i cant remember but i had friends who were 10 an 11 one was even 9. no it does not hurt sometimes u cramp a lil but just try an take some tylenlo. good luck plus talk to ur mom she will help answer ur q's u will problay start at about the same time she did.

Well Hun, like a lot of the girls on here... I doubt this is mommy talking... I don't know many mothers who start with GirlS: and use cuz.... however, you needen't worry, most every girl goes through this, and it's different for us all. I, unlike my friends, get very mild cramps. I started when I was 16, so I was a late bloomer compared to many girls. Don't worry unless you haven't started until you're 18... sounds like you've got time. Good luck with it!

It doesn't hurt unless you get cramps and you can get it from the age of 8/9 to 15/16.

I was almost 14 when I got mine and it didn't hurt, but the misery of knowing I had to change gross bloody pads bugged me so much and the fear someone would know that I would make myself physically sick each month. When I finally got past all those issues I was fine.

cramps hurt i got my period around 11 but i didnt get my first cramp until the next year and a half and i was in pain that i fell asleep on the toilet but i had a heating pad and a pillow so it helped the pain

I was a few months shy of 13 and I got pretty bad cramps. It varies though, I have a cousin who started at ten and another one that started at fourteen. And not all girls get cramps or at least bad ones. Most women grow out of bad cramps though.

I got mine at 11, but every girl is different.
It doesn't hurt, except you might get stomach cramps.

i started mt period when i was bout 11.it doesnt hurt.it hurts when u start growin down there.but u cant feel a thing
