when my sons hormones go up and I gotta worry about him with girls?

If you teach him right, and keep the lines of communication open, you shouldn't need to worry. They start showing an interest at 8 or 9, but that's all for a few years. In the meantime, make sure you are the one to teach him the facts of life, and not his friends.

Puberty can be as early as 9 or 10. Personally I'd start opening the line of communication about sex really early on (obviously at a level appropriate for their age) and just keep talking about it through their growing up years or at least until they stop listening to you.

My best friend's son started getting phone calls when he was 12. These days it seems you have to worry about the girls chasing him.

This is where parenting comes in. You have do discuss with your son what is normal hormones and how to handle them. Also, discuss with him acceptable ways to treat females so that they don't become sex objects or objects of convenience just because he is horny.

From puberty on. Around age 8 or so. Then, you will probably always worry.

Televison is portraying sex and adult like love with younder and younger characters for younger and younger audiences. I would say ten. Need i remind about the 6th graders in michigan having sex in the classroom? Its awfull what the devil will do to keep us sinning.

I work in a middle school and I estimate one third of the students are already sexually active. Start talking to him now.
