When I went to the doctor last week, I found out that I'm 20lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight .. My aunt said most of that weight will shed off after I quit breastfeeding. Anyone have a clue ? .. Will exercising really get me dramatic results right now?

It's a nice thought but they want to combine their names to show their love for each other. They want to name it Meethew. I don't want to interfere in their lives but should I speak up to save the kid from a lifetime of "what's your name"?

My friend has been married for 2 years. She NEVER wants to have children. Her husband wants to have at least one child and is hoping she will accidentally get pregnant or might change her mind.

My friend said if she ever did have a baby that she wouldn't feel like a good mother since she never wanted a kid.

Can a marriage like this work out? Have you been in this situation before?

Im a single mum who is totally p***ed off with the way we are all seen to be sponging off the goverment. I work full time study part time own my own home. Raise my daughter to know what the rights wrongs and boundaries are in life. Im teaching her you only get what you work for. Im sick of being frowned upon when my daughter is better behaved and looked after than some kids in two parent familes. Why are we all tarred with the same brush?

We have a 2 year 4 month old daughter (our first).

I husband wake 7 am, leave house 7.30, start work 8, finish work 6.30, back home 7, look after child til 9, relax 9-10, wind down and sleep 10.
She (wife) wakes 8, dozes til 9, looks after toddler til 1, toddler sleeps 1-3, looks after toddler 3-7, relaxes 7-9, bathes and puts baby to sleep 9-10
Wife still sleeps with toddler as she believes its cruel to leave it alone (dont get into discussion about this please!!!)
Do you think husband is doing too much, wife is doing too much , or this is a good balance??

My husband and I wanted a little boy firstborn. We found out that we are having a girl. As a feminist, I feel guilty that I had a preference, as I genuinely believe in equality. The "I want a boy first to protect his little sisterl" is a nauseating cliche, but I have to admit that I bought into it. My question is why do we really want boys first? Is it really for protection or is it because society favors boys?

I am 6 months pregnant well me and my boyfriend have been doin good until the other day he found out that when I first got pregnant I was talking to another guy (on the phone only) it wasn't nothing sexual it was just a hey how you doin thing well he broke up with me and told me that he was so hurt I understand that alot and things and just to mention when I did talk to the other guy me and him were having problems and we weren't together but that don't make this any better I have tried everything from I'm sorry to everything I just need some advice to what to do I know I messed up and I shouldn't have done it but I want my family and I want him I don't want anybody else please help!

People who misinterpret the saying "Spare the rod, spoil the child?" There are so many people who say this and have no clue the actual true meaning.

My son is 24 days old. and he is on a apnea monitor for sleep apnea. he does have a problem everyday but the days he does he seems to have more than one. Is there anything that helps. What advice have your doctors given you? Its so scary.

I remember with my son living in Ohio having to stand out in the snow almost but naked lol cause i was so hot. with my daughter i dont remember none of this and i lived in Florida! now still living in Florida and preg with another boy i am sooo hottt again. I have my air conditioner on like the lowest it can get and i am still burning up. Does this just happen with boys? what do i do? Is this normal?

Im 35 weeks pregnant and for the last 3-4 weeks ive been having such back pains and stomach pains it about puts me in tears. I just had my appt the other day and its like they dont care and well i guess its nothing bc they just looked at me and nodded and... thats it. So its normal then for these pains? i mean since im basically being ignored about it, its normal? I just cant take it anymore. I know I dont do anything to cause them. I dont work (stay at home mom) and I just clean and relax all day. So all im wondering is if these pains then are normal? I have 2 other kids but experienced no symptoms of preg or labor, nothing with the both of them.. this is totally different so im a little lost. thanks everyone.

I've seen commercials for this new listerine mouthwash that stains the plaque on your teeth blue, so that you can see where the plaque is. The commercial seems to be aimed at kids' dental health. Has anyone tried it yet?
