I remember with my son living in Ohio having to stand out in the snow almost but naked lol cause i was so hot. with my daughter i dont remember none of this and i lived in Florida! now still living in Florida and preg with another boy i am sooo hottt again. I have my air conditioner on like the lowest it can get and i am still burning up. Does this just happen with boys? what do i do? Is this normal?

Part of it has to do with the fact that you have about 50% more blood volume than before you were pregnant. The other culprit is all those pregnancy hormones. It doesn't just happen with boys, as all of us mothers of girls can attest to.

P.S. The only time I've ever chewed ice is when I was pregnant.

You have a high metablolism, sounds like. You spend a lot of You are most likely not going to be able to resolve this. I have the same problem. I spend days outside in winter without a coat just to keep comfortable. My family freezes due to my temp being too hot!

I was pregnant with a boy and would turn the heat off in the winter because I would get sooo hot. My husband would get so mad because he would wake up to a freezing house and he had to work all day.

i had my first son 24 days ago and i know the entire time i was pregnant i was hot. i live in Ohio and my husband and i would fight about the heater because i turned off and he would turn it on. I think it normal, i kept my heat off and ate lots of ice. eating ice helps keep you cool.

Being pregnant sure can do some strange things to your body hey! I would guess that it is just your hormones playing tricks on you, but I would mention it to your doctor just in case! Congratulations

it could have something to do with high blood pressure. you should mention this to your doctor on your next visit. i had two boys but this never happened to me
