the age that you can get birth control with out your parents will change with each state. it is not right for children to get on birth control without there parents knowing. if they are not mature enough to talk to there parents about getting on birth control they shouldn't be have sex.

YES YES YES

Parents can have no rights to stop their kid taking any contrceptive as most live in a lala delueded lunatic state where they think teenagers asre children showing no acceptance of biological law.

Its parents who would stop it who get their kids pregnant all the time.

You kids WILL have sex most likely fron 15-7 onwards unless to ugly or lacking in social skills at which point you will have worse probvlems like self harm, attempted suicide, annorexia, alcholisim or hard drug use.

There is not really a minimum age.

Its the best form of contraceptive for a teenager in terms of they cant forget it, or put it on wrong, however they need to know that st johns wort, and anitbioltcs stop it working.

If it were my kid I would know as I would put them on it myself

ok im guessing we are talking about the depro-vera shot? in my opinion no one should take it! it can do horrible things to ppl not to mention how good can it be for you body to not menstruate? for young ladies who need to be on birth control im not sure it is legal for them to get it before age 16 w/o a parent. that may vary by state.I would not think this would be a first choice for any doctor to put a young lady on right off the bat but i could be very wrong young girls may think it is better they don't have to remember to take it WHICH scares me what about AIDS & STD s? i so don't even want to think about this yet but i guess it is a reality. NO i don't think it is right for an adolescent to get it w/o discussing it with their parents first.

IN THE STATE OF VA THERE IS NO MIN AGE. ANY GIRL THAT IS A MINOR CAN GO TO A HEALTH CLINIC AND GET BIRTHCONTROL W/O HER PARENTS KNOWING. I DID AT 15, AND YES NOW I BELIEVE THAT IS TOO YOUNG

ABOUT 50% SIMPLY B/C THEY CAN'T REMEMBER TO TAKE THE PILL OR THAT THEY ARE HIDING TAKING BIRTHCONTROL AND GETTING THE SHOT WHICH LEAVES NO EVIDENCE VERSES THE PILL
