It is true. Babies can hear starting from the fifth month, they also develop this sense in the following months until birth. Parents' voices are always familiar and if they had some sort of a song that they used to listen to while he/she was yet unborn, the very same song will attract his attention when he is born.
As a matter of fact, there is a school that starts a tailored teaching plan (upon request of parents and for 400 US a week), the plan starts by playing certain music and some selected voices, phrases, ...etc, during the sixth month of pregnancy.

A baby can hear a mumbled version of outside noise. They know the mothers voice because she is carrying the baby. I didn't know this until I was pregnant with my second child and here is the most awesome show to find. I belive you can find it at www.discoverychannel.com orrrr you can google search "In the Womb" it shows a month by month 4 d view of what going on inside as well as what the baby hears and goes though. Hope you enjoy!

No it's not true. The baby can listen to it's mother's voice when it's inside the mother. And it can listen to music as well as long as there's headphones on the stomach of the mother.

it particularly is idiotic... Laughable, even. If having intercourse too youthful particularly brought about injury, the female menstrual cycle might initiate later. To think of which you may attempt and scare a woman out of having intercourse by telling her that it will kill her is ridiculous. Shells, you're misinforming her additionally. the only reason she may well be extra probable to get an STD is as a results of the fact she is beginning earlier, that meaning she would manage to be having intercourse longer and with extra companions... even nevertheless, if a twelve 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous is having intercourse, does not you think of she/he may well be having intercourse with somebody of comparable age? i'm not asserting it particularly is impossible, even nevertheless it particularly is not likely that a 12-15 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous might have an STD. they might would desire to have been raped or born from a mom with an STD. as quickly as lower back, i'm not asserting it particularly is impossible because of the fact she must be having intercourse with somebody of any age, however the main probable cantidates may well be of her age group, and can probable be virgins or have had intercourse little or no.

That is not true. My husband read, spoke and sang to our daughter while she was still in the womb. Within minutes after her birth, our daughter turned her head to the sound of my husband's voice.
They can hear once they reach a certain developmental stage in gestation. I'm not sure right now how far along they have to be, though.

Babies can hear as soon as their ears are developed. Babies can even recognize familiar voices after they are born.
