4 months after my baby was born I was put on Meliane pill, which was quite ok (have been taking for 2 months), just gave me a kind of a depression and low libido (but probably, it is because of the lack of sleep and tiredness). yesterday my doctor prescribed Microgynon 30 in hope that it will "cheer me up", since it contains a higher dose of hormones. But I made an Internet research, and it shows that Microgynon is an older generation of pills and has plenty of bad testimonials.

Now I'm confused and frustrated. I know, all women are different, but what was your experience with Meliane and Microgynon, or what pills would you recommend?

I am not saying they all are but ALOT are poor to start with, and dont have much of a good life, so wouldnt they be more careful about not having children if they cant afford them>?

Becoming a mother sounds good in theory, but as a planner and a perfectionist, there seems to be so much to do before I can consider bringing a life into this world. I am a professional, happily married woman who can't decide whether or not to become a parent, and feel bad for not knowing by now. How does one know if parenthood is for them? Any advice to help me decide or to help me prepare?

My fiance can't wait to have kids. he wants them as soon as we marry. i've seen what they have done to my friends bodies and i am terrified! i'm almost 30 so i feel time is running out. but i enjoy taking a nap when ever i want, going out on a whim and not having to pack up baby stuff and sleeping in on sat. besides the actual delivery, makes me so sick it's like i'm an inmature teenager. my mom says i just must not be ready but will i ever?

so when i bought the car seat there were a million stickers on it (the warning stickers). and i have somewhat of an OCD about things lol so decided to take off the stickers that were in spanish (there were a lot of them!!) and not in english since we don't speak spanish, and no one that is taking care of the baby has that as a first language anyway. now we have that little film, and sticky mess on it from where the stickers where. i know i know, not smart, but got bored maybe? not sure what caused me to take them off. but curious, does anyone have any ideas on how to get the film off?? and an easy way to get a few of the other stickers in spanish off? the two i got off were such a pain!! thanks everyone!!!

I was at a breast feeding class and when I came out a woman told me that if I decided to breast feed that I was sick in the head for letting a child suck on my breast and she also added that I would be molesting my baby and should have my children taken away! I have 3 other children but never breastfed them. I have always heard people say how good it is for the baby to breast feed,and now that I wan't to give it a try every one is being so hateful. Any advice or comments will be appreciated.

should have to put them for an open adoption so that someone who is stable in life and can't have kids can raise the baby. Our tax dollars would be a lot lower because there would not be as many welfare cases. And these girls would be able to finish school without the burden of a baby. Does anyone agree?

We have a new daughter (fourth child) due in the next few weeks and I'm struggling for a name.

We've been at this for nearly eight months and our current favourite names are Francesca, Madeleine and Verity - but I've fallen out with pretty much all of them.

Our other daughter is named Isabella - so we have to keep in theme.

Best answer gets a big thank-you - and may even become someone's name...

I agreed when I was pregnant that I would give my son this name that I had never heard, from a language that I have never heard with the idea that it would eventually grow on me and I would like it. It sounded sort of cute at the time and I know I was doing something very special for my husband by giving him this name.
A year and a half later and I hate the name more all the time. It doesn't even sound like a name, it sounds strange to me. All my friends and family are used to it and like it and I can't get used to it.
I can't change his name now, what do I do? It's making me crazy.
Other people have done this right? I can't be the only idiot to agree to something so stupid.

My last period was on Feburary 4th
I did not get my period this month, but around the time I might have gotton it I had some strings of blood in the normal vaginal discharge once or twice. It wasnt even 1/8th of a teaspoon worth. I took a pregnancy test 3 times, and they all came up negitive. I took it in the morning, afternoon, and night. (all different days)
Do you personally think I'm pregnant?

My friends employer told her that she could either quit and have 3 weeks, or be fired. I think it would be better to be fired, because that way she can at least collect unemployment until she finds a new job. Is that the case?

Okay i am 23, married (for 3 years this may) and have two beautiful children with my husband at the ages of 3 1/2 & 2 (as of last thurs). My issue is my mother. Whenever i tell her i am pregnant she acts like it is a tragedy! I can understand with my son because i was 18 and not married.. but i was married with my daughter and she always tells me what good children they are and how well i have done raising them.. I recently had a miscarriage... and i got all that "everything happens for a reason" & "god does what's best" stuff from my famliy but my mom said "you better get some form of birth control so it doesn't happen again". Now i love my mom and we are very close but total opposites. My husband and i want a third child (no more after that) but i am scared to death of having to tell my mother if i am pregnant again (which i may be)! My kids are sooo close to her & my father & i know they love both of them dearly but i just can't understand why she would act this way! Plz help!

I heard this song a few times in an indoor playground. It has children singing and it goes "Emily, Emily, where are you my sweet Emily?" Or something like that. In China, the ratio of males to females at birth is 1.12. World-wide it is 1.05. Shouldn't it be equal, or is there some biological reason for it? In China, I assume the numbers are skewed due to pre-natal sex screening and abortion of females, but I wonder why North America would have a 1.05 ratio.

i was a couple days late n my period was alot lighter& shorter than useual. they are always the same it was almost like i wasn't even on my period. befor i was even late i just felt pregnant like a gut instinct. i've just starting having an odd discharge i've never had befor i've been having headaches, nausea, extreme mood swings, my nipples are sore but my breast don't seem any bigger, i'm exhausted all the time i've taken a pregnancy test and it was negative but i still feel pregnant. please give me some advice on this. thanks
