4 months after my baby was born I was put on Meliane pill, which was quite ok (have been taking for 2 months), just gave me a kind of a depression and low libido (but probably, it is because of the lack of sleep and tiredness). yesterday my doctor prescribed Microgynon 30 in hope that it will "cheer me up", since it contains a higher dose of hormones. But I made an Internet research, and it shows that Microgynon is an older generation of pills and has plenty of bad testimonials.

Now I'm confused and frustrated. I know, all women are different, but what was your experience with Meliane and Microgynon, or what pills would you recommend?

Get off The Pill, you're killing yourself. Why do you want to dump artificial hormones into your body for years? Doctors have been lying to women for years. There IS a connection between the pill and breast cancer. Haven't you wondered why the rate of breast cancer climbed at the same rate of contraceptive pill use?
