For doing so to these little helpless souls could imprint a very negative emotion early in their life, making them feel unloved@unwanted, and can cause them to become juvenile delinquents later in life? Any active government or religious institution who could help, by making census@surveys among households thru a spot inspection/interview, as covert visitors, so that these erring mothers could be invited to a sort of a symposium or a forum wherein, child psychology is taken up@a few more alternatives that these mothers could do, just to save the well-being@welfare@integrity of their children, as early as their toddler years? My heart cries so much for these children, as they represent the hope of the motherland. What if these children, so misguided, henpecked@set-aside, become problem child of the universe? And instead of them becoming intellectuals, they'll end up unnecessarily as psychiatric patients in the long run? Parents will become more frustrated@in the end, family breaks.

Wondering if your hormones after having a baby would still produce a positive result in a pregnancy test and how long these hormones stay in the body after giving birth.

That it's making my study habits unhealthy. I'm almost 18, and in my last year of high school in New Zealand. I'm so scared of not doing well this year that all I do is study. I know this is good and my parents should be proud of me, but i'm turning down offers of going out and having fun so I can do all my assignments.

How can I manage my time better so I don't worry about school work all the time?

Also, I have extreme amounts of pressure from my family, friends and my best friend to do well this year. How can I tell them that their pressure is actually having a negitive effect on me?

P.S. Lori and Emawee, please don't bother answering this question. You both stalk me and i'm sick of it. Please just leave me alone.

I have met a great man who ive been seeing for a month,my contraception failed to save me from getting pregnant and he has told me if i keep the child he will walk away and never see me again.I think he's playing on my feelings for him. He has a daughter to another woman and i have 4 children as well. I dont agree with abortion unless there are special circumstances and its not this childs fault and didnt ask to be born.
The worst part is that he has taken a job interstate and leaves in 2 weeks anyway regardless of any choices i make.should i take a stand and tell him im keeping his child?

I need to make an important decision! I will be having a baby in 3 weeks. My mother wants to be in the delivery room.Being her only daughter and my first child I can see where that would be very important to her.My boyfriend on the other hand absolutely doesn't want her in there because he says it's a time where we as a family should bond alone.I understand both of their point of views and either way I'm fine but I need to make a decision without hurting anyone's feelings..What do I do?

Well, i tried to do research on it and found nothing. i don't think it costs anything to put your own child up for adoption. i am wondering cuz my best friend's step sister is pregnant for the 2nd time with a different daddy. she was looking to put her baby up for adoption b/c she is a single mother. but, she suddenly changes her mind when she finds out she's having her first boy and tells everybody that adoption was too expensive.

i have my doubts. i seriously don't think that putting your child up for adoption would cost any money, b/c wouldn't that discourage you?

anyways, i was just wondering if anybody had any experience putting their child up for adoption and if it cost any money?

So I got pregnant, the parents of my ex-boyfirend wanted me to get an abortion.

I refused to get one, now they are all hate and refuse to talk to me because I've ruined his college life.

In the past my exboyfirend/father of my new unborn baby has been very loving, sopportive, and sweet towards me.

It is very unlike his nature for him to behave in such a crule & unsesative way by ingnoring me for not geting an abortion.

In the begining we discussed adoption together and he was in agreement with it so long as his paretns didn't find out.

His step mother found out and told everyone in his family. Thats when the **** hit the fan!

I didn't know what to do and thats when the subject of "it's abortion or I wouldn't ever be able to talk to Him agian"

Because he used to remind me 20 times a day that he loved and he used to help me with my every need.

Do you think it's possible it could just be his parents? Do you think he'll turn around and come back?

I just think it's not right and it is realy sad because when girls/women get an abortion then your'e not allowing the baby to expiriance life and that is also killing a humanbing.

So I got pregnant, my ex-boyfriend's parents told me if I didn't get a abortion that it made me a very selffish person and I'd also not be allowed to speak with their son ever agian. Here are the reasons why they believed I should do it.

1. I have a history of deppression

2. the deppression could make the child very sick

3. I'd ruin the lives of my ex-boyfirend and his parents

4. They believed that after I had the baby I'd get
post pardom deppression, lay in bed and not care for
my child.

5. Because I grew up an orphan and had a hard life living in foster cares and group homes that would make her a problem child in the future.

6. They believed even though I wanted to give the baby up for adoption there is no one in the world who would adopt a African American half Japanese baby.

My ex turned on me not to metion get his friends and family after me. Even told my friends lies to justify his actions.

Was he right to do so? Does that make me selffish?

I was wondering what are your main concerns with how your child is going to grow up? Sometimes i realy worry that my son is going to grow up veryconfused (the courts gave his dad supervised visitation rights and he only goes when it is convinent for him if lucky 3 times out of 7 months) Sometimes i realy worry i won't be enough for my son (he does have gramma and grampa but still) I realy want to know how many other single parents stress over stuff and what kinds of things you stress over.

I heard that when you have a baby, your whole life changes. You no longer do things that make you happy (life goals, etc..) but now you are dedicated 100% of the time to a baby. I know that you love the baby, so you don't mind... but, man, isnt that alot to give up for 18 years of your life?

I'm pregnant with my second child. I have a three year old daughter and kept everything from her just in case. We just found out Monday that we are having a little girl. I have been asked by several people are you going to have a baby shower. I have told them no because I didn't think it was proper to have a baby shower with your second child. I think that it would be great to have one with my second. They all just look at me like I'm stupid. One friend told me I should have a diaper shower and I have considered that. But I was wondering did or do you all know of people who have had baby showers with their second child?

I am 34 years old and always wanted to have kids. I seem to have an instant good rapport with children. I was pregnant once and stopped it as I was very young and did not know any other option. I am now in a sexless marriage, which I don't know where is going to. Also, one other important thing is that I am coming from a family, where I was verbally and physically absued. So, one thought emerged recently: could it be that I am subconsciously sabotaging my own possibility of having kids because of my unhappy childhood? Does it ring any bell and does anyone else has a similar experience?

I want to have kids but my husband doesn't want to. He already has 4 kids from his first marriage. He still uses condoms. I really want to have kids but every time I tell him he says no way he has enough. I tell him that I never had any kids and he doesn't seem to care. Should I poke wholes in the condoms? Is that too much?

My wife and I will be expecting soon. I got no other relatives here but her family is always around, and to me its overbearing.
She calls them everyday and so on.Calls when she comes home like if she still a kid.
Now, I was wondering, at the hospital her parents, sister and husband their kid and gods knows who else will be there, is that ok? I trying to make it a husband and wife occasion but she's making it a big family event. I don't mind a couple of ppl there and other visits like a couple weeks later. Her mom is going to stay with us, understandibly, for a few days after, while my wife rests.....When will I get time of our own to get used to our child without interference? I dont want her parents raising my child without me having my say. I'm just left out of everything.
Can anyone give this new dad to be some advice?
