Wondering if your hormones after having a baby would still produce a positive result in a pregnancy test and how long these hormones stay in the body after giving birth.

i think ity depends on whether you are breast feeding. ask your midwife.

Pregnancy tests are most accurate at the very early times of pregnancy. This is because they pick up on the rush or hormones at the start. After you have just had a baby there is no reason why you would provide a positive test, however take professional advise.

you know that's a very good question i suppose it would show positive for a few weeks but really don't know will do some research


i think if you have had your periods since having the baby you will get an accurate pregnancy result, and that took some searching to find the answer

I doubt it would register as still pregnant after the delivery of the placenta.

Breastfeeding has nothing to do with the accuracy of a pregnancy test, btw.

that is a good one to ask i dont know...I would think that it would not show up but i am not shure..... THAT IS ONE THAT WE NEED TO ASK A DOCTOR THAT ONE....
