It's probably simply a late period which is bothering you, but if it should continue to hurt badly and not start for several more days then you can see your doctor. There is simply no way to tell if something more serious is wrong by these minimal symptoms. It would take a full exam. There are too many possibilities that could create abdominal pain and missed periods to do a self-diagnosis.

It could be a number of things like if you were taking birth control and stopped that could through off your cycle, I would give it another few days to see if menstrual will come and if not then you should look into taking a pregnancy test to confirm. The best thing to do would be to go to the doctor and have them check you out.

Get a pregnancy test. That's exactly how I felt when I was pregnant. I didn't think I was, because I took all the necessary precautions. But after a week of cramps with no period, I went to the doctor, who told me I was.
Good luck!

I'm not saying this is what it is for sure, just what it could be with the abdominal pain. You could have a cyst or cysts on your ovaries. Check out the information on the website I put below...and please don't freak about anything before you see your doctor. Most of the time they will go away on their own.

Yeah! you are one of those women that come monthly with such difficulties. It is not a disease but could be controlled.

Down here, we control it by giving the women, Bitter leaf juice. Plenty of it and it will encourage a free flow which reduces the pains greatly.
