I am pregnant with twins, natural, no fertility drugs or anything. No twin history in either of our families. When people find out we don't have twins in our family, they get this look of almost superiority, and they say in a real snooty voice..."oooh so you took fertility drugs." Like I have commited a crime, or like I am less of a woman if I had to take them. Are women who have had to use fertility treatments looked down up on. Obviously I don't, but I just am amazed at the response and the looks I get. I just don't get it. I just wanted to see if anyone else had an opinion on this. Also when they find out I will have to have a C-section, they feel sorry for me? I don't, heck, I am not looking forward to pushing out two children right in a row? C-section or natural, I don't care. Why are women like this?

My husbands youngest daughter died in 2002, and the local child protection office is convinced that he murdered her and took our other kids. The sheriffs office and the coroner ruled the death accidental. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I could do to change their minds? I don't want to start people arguing with me, my husband did not kill his daughter, and I didn't either. He never hurt her, he even got custody of his girls over their mother in 1999. Please people don't start anything with me because this is a touchy subject and I couldn't handle being verbally abused again on a board like this.

I am looking for a jogging or hybrid stroller with the following features: front wheel that pivets, seat that completely reclines and a revolving sun canopy to block out the sunlight. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am not happy with the canopy on the Bob Revolution and have had lots of problems with the Zooper Boogie that we just ordered. Thanks!

The father thinks just because I dont make $50,000 dollars a year like himself.... I am unsuitable to take care of our child, I make about 12,000-14,000 a year. I live w/ my Mom in a one bedroom apartment. He lives with his Mom in a 3 bedroom house. I loved my child from the start he asked me to abort it several times. Now he wants to get sole custody. Would I have a chance at having custody? I didnt know I had to be wealthy to have a child.

I am in an active natural miscarriage which can last according to various sources up to two weeks. This is being managed by a private doctor under a pseudo name because it is imperative I keep my medical record perfect. I went to the ER on Thurs. due to a severe bronchitis and I warned my boyfriend not to tell the staff about my already managed miscarriage. I was not there to be treated for that and I always ask for a specific antibiotic that I knew ahead of time would never affect a pregnancy. My boyfriend made an excuse to get "something" from the car, but instead went back to the admitting clerk and told them all about my "condition", which I considered very private! I didn't find out until the ER physician brought it up with, "Oh, you are pregnant?" I was super traumatized because it really is heart wrenching to explain all over again, NO I'm not. Can someone help sort out these feelings?

I have a friend who just recently broke up with his girlfriend. They have a daughter who is 2 years old. The mother has been threatening to turn over all custody to my friend who is the father. It's not that he wouldn't take care of her on a daily basis, but he works long hours and it would be hard for him to have sole custody of his daughter. I would like to know how this process works. I thought that one parent could only take another parent to court if they WANT custody of the child. Can anyone provide me with any insight on this?

This is my 3rd pregnancy....unfortunately at the moment I feel as if I'm going through my 2nd miscarriage. During the 1st it wasn't until I started bleeding that I realized what was happening. I'm about 5wks if even that. I have horrible lower back pain and abdominal pain as well. Should I go to the ER immediately or wait until I start bleeding? :-(

Is there anybody out there who can't have children or who is struggling to have them find Mother's Day (and Father's Day) tough going?

I do a little bit. It's not the day itself so much it's the going out to get stuff for my Mum and seeing all the cards and pressies and people buying that gets me down a bit. It reminds you that you're in the minority. The day itself is just a regular Sunday in our house. My hubby and I jokingly call it 'Rub-it-in-your-face Day. LOL

right people im having a dilemma, me and my partner of almost a year (who ive been best friends with for 5 years), really want to have a baby, but... i already have 2 children from 2 dads, my dad would go absolutley ape and probably not talk to me, my partner wouldnt be able to live with me at first as we cannot afford it, i have plans to go to college but i would rather put them on hold to have a baby so that all my children are close together, also me and my partner have a brilliant relationship and my partner gets on so well with my children, what do you think i should do. i dedicate my life to my children so if your thinking of putting something horrible please dont.
thankyou
