No don't take him back. I've been through a similar relationship. He's never going to change. Think about your children. You don't want them to see you getting abused do you? It's someone else out there that's better for you, just give yourself time to heal.

no way should you take him back. That'd be another mouth for you to feed, another back for you to clothes, plus if he is abusive even if it's mental abuse to you he's going to do the same to your kids. You can make it without him as you have proven. If he can show over time and hold down a job, take showers, and show that he's not abusive anymore then ya'll can talk about getting back together. I wouldn't want to put a kid through the arugements that you two will have if you are back together.

how would it be healthy for an abusive smelly person to be around your kids? You can't be serious. You said "for the kids' sake?" What sake? How would it help them? Absolutely not. It woudl destroy them mentally and emotionally to have this man around. Kids need their father - but they need someone who is going to act as a afather - not a sperm donor. Focus your life on your children - keep them busy with school, sports, activities, and fun, and eventually someone will come along that will be a father figure and will love you and your children unconditionally. Stay away from loser face despite his looks.

yeah take him back if you think attractive is stinky, uneducated, abusive and unemployed. Sounds like you deserve each other and the social system will raise your kids. Get A Life or give your kids up

You should never stay with anyone for the kids sake. Kids aren't stupid. They'll know if mommy and daddy are having problems and it will effect them. If you care about your kids mental and physical health do NOT take this guy back!

Are you nuts? How about don't take him back for the kids' sake! What does he have to offer them beside body odor, abuse, and literally taking food out of their mouths, since he'll be sponging off of you!!!!!!!!

Hang pics of Brad Pitt on the wall & buy a vibrator.

No No No No No!!!!!!!!!!

For the child's sake, don't expose them to that type of negative energy.
He must not be so darned attractive, if you can say those things about him. And refusing to bathe is NEVER attractive.
If you feel you must, give him time to grow up, then do so, but don't compromise your baby's mental and physical well-being by exposing them to abusive, negligent violence.

Please read your question outloud and the answer lies between the lines. Or we can catch you on "48 Hours" murder investigation on A & E. Run for your life, the kids come first their safety matters and so does yours. Get a good support system for yourself eg your friends and family so you can get through this without feeling the need to take him back.
