I don't feel abortion is right. I think adoption should be over abortion anyday. Kids won't feel lost if the parents (adoptive) are making them feel loved and secure. I think this country is very wrong with so many of the double standards they have. For example if a woman is 6 weeks pregnant she can have a doctor kill that baby. But if you have a fight with that woman and hit her there and she lives but the baby miscarriages then you can be charged with murder. Does that make sense? How can you murder something that pro choice people claim is not a life? For some people it's only murder depending on what benefits them that particular day.

I feel that abortions are done for the wrong reasons most of the time. However, I do think that a woman should have an option for whether or not have an abortion under certain circumstances...meaning, her health is at risk if she continues with her pregnancy, or even if it was being considered because of rape or incest. When you have someone that has silly reasons as far as "they too young", or "they cant take of the child", thats not an excuse to have an abortion.

Abortion is tragic.
The circumstances that create a perceived need for abortion are tragic.
Ideally, we would live in world where abortion was unnecessary because there would be no sex without consent, and the youth would be protected from unplanned pregnancy by being adequately chaperoned at all times.
Until we achieve that ideal, I support the legal right to an abortion for those who would otherwise resort to back alleys or self-induced abortions. I do NOT condone abortion as a substitute for birth control.

I am 100% pro-choice. It is a woman's choice. The world is very overpopulated and it isn't a big deal to not have a few children be born. There are many circumstances where it is better for the mother to have abortion(especially in young people). It isn't right to say they can't. There is no pain for the unborn fetus. Also i'd like to note that i would only have an abortion is the fetus had something very wrong with it(serious deformity or mental retardation).

It's amazing that this question shows up almost daily.
There is no reason for it.
The religious right [ of which they are neither ] claim that abortion is a sin, murder and so one.
Pro-choice people get kicked in the head by whatever someone thinks the bible says.
Let's not ask these questions.
Let every woman make her own life decisions and we can go on with our own.

I am pro choice. I have 3 friends that were adopted. It follows them like a fog. They always carry that feeling of abandonment. Also in instances of incest and rape adoption isn't the best option. Or cases of HIV infection or drug addiction. The list goes on and on. If we were to delegalize abortion it won't stop the abortions. They will just become messy again. More botched attempts putting both women and children in danger. I don't neccesarily support abortion but I fear the alternative more. If people want to adopt they could become foster parents, we have plenty of children in need of homes already.

i am pro choice and believe in abortion as long as it isn't used as a means of birth control..meaning being too lazy to practice safe sex and getting pregnant every few months and aborting

Abortion is murder. I don't get how anyone could even think about killing an innocent baby. With so many famlies out there that can't have babies, why not just put the baby up for adoption. I would never even be able to put a baby up for adoption, I would take one look in to those beautiful little eyes, and I'd be instantly in love.

the only way i think it would be acceptable for a mother to get an abortion was if she was raped, but other then that it its murder, i think if you want to have sex you should deal with the consequences that can come with it. plus if someone didn't want there child the fair thing to do would be adoption.

PRO-LIFE all the way! why does someone else has to suffer for a mistake YOU made. If you are woman enough to spread your legs than you are woman enough to take care of a child!
BTW i see some putting thumbs down on the PRO-life responses. If you don't like our responses then don't read them. You are a child killer (the person who is putting the thumbs down on everyone) Live with it that not everyone is a murderer like you.
