You are on call 24/7.
You are not their best friend, you are their PARENT! Act like it!
Don't push your child to unnecessary anger. Choose your battles wisely.
Be loving.
Even small events like losing a toy can be devestating to them. Listen to them.
Also...watch what you do. Your child certainly will! You are the biggest influence that your child has.

Long hours expected, chauffeur, chef, maid, butler, valet, personal trainer, educator, mentor, and above all - must be ready to give up the job at moments notice in about 17 or 18 years.
