i only ask this because so many people say abortion is murder... and so many others say meat is murder.

God gave man dominion over the animals.
The hypocrisy is when you have someone wearing a "Save the Whales" T-shirt while having an abortion. Surely an unborn human is superior to a whale?

Especially since when you really look at the cruelty that is involved INDIRECTLY, when supporting both the meat and the dairy industries. For example, drinking milk supports the veal industry - many people oppose veal but still drink milk. The cows don't produce milk without getting pregnant - DUH!

I place a higher value on the life of a fellow human being than the life of a cow or chicken, but that's just me.
Everyone has their issues, and at this point I don't see anyone declaring one or the other as being universally wrong or right anytime soon.

good point and i asked a similar question a while ago - do pro-lifers support ALL life, or just the life of the fetus? I find most of them very hypocritical.
