Im a new mommy to a 2 week old baby boy. I've been breast feeding him since he was born until recently. I drank a margarita with tequila in it and i didnt want to risk anything happening to him if i continued to breast feed him. Is that possible? Its been about one week since I drank it and i want to know if it is ok to continue with the breast feeding. Please help

Since my baby was newborn, I gave him Enfamil Lipil with iron.. I was expecting constipation since the iron causes it, but it didn't happen. At 4 months old I started solids.. nothing happened, and at 6 months old, I asked my pediatrician about change formula. I, turned to Costco's Formula, which seemed fine and with the same quality of Enfamil. But.... it seems that it didin't happen, he has been so constipated since the change, or maybe one month after the change. Did it happen with your baby? Have you used Costco's formula?? Please, advice.. Do I have to return to Enfamil??

can i start using those pampers and diapers on a new born. Wont they give his sensitive skin any rash? Or should i start using it from day one? Or there are other alternatives? My grandmother tells me that the diapers can irritate the skin of new born and we should wait for a few weeks before putting them overnight. Meanwhile I should use other cloth diapers or homemade ones with very soft feel and change it as it gets wet..But wont it be a very tedious job? And wont the sheets be dirty all the time that way? I am very confused, pls help.

My friend just recently had a baby who is in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit). She has been in there for two weeks, and will still be there for a few more. At the same time, my friend was hospitalized for toxemia and other complications. This is going to be a hefty hospital bill.

Is there a program to help pay for medical bills for these unexpected expenses?

My daughter and I are visiting in MI right now and she is having such a hard time with it. It is hot and sticky and she does not want to go to sleep. Right now she is in her crib occasionally getting up and screaming but by the time I get to the corner or the stairs she is back to eating her bottle and sleeping. She is cutting 8 new teeth and for a few nights I had to wrap her up real snug and hold her to force her to go to sleep. I am soooo frustrated.... I have run out of ideas

She has a fan in the room to cool it off
I have tried teething tablets, swabs, and gels
I have tried baby tylenol
I have run out of ideas to make her more comfortable

I feel like my baby girl just isn't interested in nursing anymore. I work full time and mostly nurse a couple times in the morning and then to pretty much get her to sleep at night. I feed her infant food, rice cereal and supplement with formula because she is always at g-ma's while I am at work. I tried pumping, but honestly I dont think I produce enough milk. She is now almost 6 months and it isnt an imposition on me or anything, I love having the power to conquor my crying fussy baby when no one else can....lol. But is it worth it? Has breastfeeding this long been helpfull still?? When did you stop?
Thanks! :)

Not Crawling Or Getting Up On Arms And/Or Knees. Since He Knows How To Roll Back Over I Can't Have Him "Fight It Out" On His Tummy. Im Getting Frustrated And Feel Like He Is Not Up To Par. I Know All Babies Develop At Their Own Rate But Honestly He's Not So Quick Huh?

thank you everyone who shared your experience with me by answering this question correctly.. I;m so tired of people not even reading the question before critising and assuming.. For example telling me to breastfeed on a formula question .. or this is a good example.. Why do people answer like this!!!!

My son has been a fussy eater since 2 months of age. Today as i was going through his 100-peice bottle collection, i noticed the brown nipple that i havent yet tried. Somehow i missed it, i guess.. It fit our Ventair Wide and Drop-ins by Playtex. My son took it very well. But when i looked up the latex nipples, i found an article about it causing babies allergy.. So now i'm apprehensive about using it again..

Also, is playtex, gerber and evenflo only companies make these type of nipples.. Why? Dr.browns, avent seem to only produce silicone..

so anyone have good experience with these nipples, or should i keep looking for something of silicone?

I had my son 3 weeks ago, and he is my first so I don't really know what to expect. My doctors office is all booked up so I can't get an appointment until the 23rd of this month.

For the last few days, he has been twitching and tensing up alot and last night while he was sleeping, his whole body tensed up and his eyes popped open, rolled back, and started shaking back and forth... He was fine as soon as I picked him up, but today I noticed that he has some little white spots all over his tongue... Is this normal? What the heck am I dealing with, and should I take him to the emergency room?

Whenever I go shopping at Target or Babies "R" Us I bring my 6 week baby daughter. Usually she's good. Well today we were shopping in Target and my baby wet her diaper, so I changed it. But then she just wouldn't stop crying. It was so weird. I fed her, played with her, rocked her, sang to her and gave her lovies and put a pacifier, but it didn't work. Her peditritian is on vacation. What could it have been? Do you think she could be sick?

I took my daughter to her 2 month checkup. The doctor noted that her soft spot is EXTREMELY small and is closing too rapidly! Has anyone else experienced this?? Please tell me what it was like for you or for someone you know!

Thanks!
