Do you mean as in skin peeling??? Babies can sometimes be born and get very dry skin since they have been in the fluid for so long so its very normal, but if your baby is getting large amounts of peeling for more than 1-2 weeks get it checked at the 10-14day check up. (or thereafter)Moisturise with sorbelene cream or another fragrance free baby cream (not thin lotions) after every bath and in the morning.

If it continues see your doctor. A friend of mines youngest daughter has an incredibly rare skin disorder that she has had since birth. her skin just peels off if you rub it too hard.

I'm sure this isn't it but check it out anyway.

The peeling usually goes away at about 4-6 weeks. It's just due to their skin getting used to being exposed to the air. Try using some "Eucerin" lotion or "Aquaphor". It's the best I have found. It took care of my litte one's peeling within 3 days. HTH.

i just lotioned her up every day with johnsons and johnsons.
also, newborns don't need to be bathed everyday. every 2-3 days so you don't dry out their skin.
