Since my baby was newborn, I gave him Enfamil Lipil with iron.. I was expecting constipation since the iron causes it, but it didn't happen. At 4 months old I started solids.. nothing happened, and at 6 months old, I asked my pediatrician about change formula. I, turned to Costco's Formula, which seemed fine and with the same quality of Enfamil. But.... it seems that it didin't happen, he has been so constipated since the change, or maybe one month after the change. Did it happen with your baby? Have you used Costco's formula?? Please, advice.. Do I have to return to Enfamil??

when my son was born i started him on Enfamil Lipil with Iron and it got a little expensive. i switched to similac and he began to get stomach pain. i had to go back to Enfamil it really is so much better. Costco sells the larger size of enfamil for a great price.

Usually it's not a good idea to change formulas, but of course, if you have absolutely no way to get your baby's regular formula tomorrow, using another brand is certainly preferable to letting him starve! My daughter is on Good Start as well and one night, I realized we were out of it, so I made her a bottle with the Similac samples I recieved while in the hospital with her...ended up giving her diarrhea.

my daughter had the same exact problem since she was born and she grew out of it. we changed her to enfamil prosobee and then at least once a day we would put a table spoon of prune juice with every two ounces in a bottle. for example 4 oz of formula 2 tablespoons of prune juice. it worked great! or pear juice

I just heard about someone else's baby getting consipated w/ Costco's Kirkland baby formula. I would definitly go back to what you were using, especially if baby was doing just fine!! GL

the two best things to do for constipation is dilluted apple juice or karo syrup....just put about a dime size in his/her bottle....adjust to the weight of your little one.

hope i helped!
