Thankyou all.

okay so this is really just to see what your opinions are
many tell me that a 3 month old can not possible know what they want, i beg to differ. my 3 months old son cries when he wants fed, his diaper changed or attention, now the attention part is really funny for my son, because on ocassion through out the day he will cry and cry and cry until we put him on his "throne" ( it''s the part between the cushions on the couch that are perfect for proping up babies so they don't go side to side) as soon as we do this he's fine, at other times he will not stop crying until his dad picks him up or at certain times of the day he wants me instead of his dad. he also will cry until i walk him around or prop him up in my lap to look around. i love it. he is so much fun, but when peole say that a baby doesn't know what they want i think that they confuse it with that the baby doesn't care, ( well thats just a theory in the works right now)

My brothers fiance is pregnant with her second child [[the first was born blind and with retardations]] the doctors told them not to have kids until they figured out why dillon was born the way he was. Well they didnt listen very well and are pregnant again. My brother asked me to barrow him 5$ till his next check for ciggs, i looked at his fiance then gave him a weird look, he knew what i was thinking and said she's only 2 months along, cigg smoke wont hurt the baby yet. I dont believe that, is he right?

Hello! My son (a little over 3 months old and fast approaching 18lbs!) is just about ready to graduate to size 3 diapers. My favorite for him so far have been Swaddlers, but I know they only go up to size 2... So, what are the most comparable diapers to these that come in size 3? Has anybody tried Kirkland (Costco) brand? What did you think of those? Obviously my main concern (aside from great leakage protection) is my son's comfort, so I really prefer the stretchy waist band. Can anybody help me find a brand (that comes in size 3) with the stretchy waist band too!? Thanks in advance. :)

Since I work with a lot of dangerous chemicals, I've been warned against breastfeeding when I return to work after delivering. I'm only 4 months pregnant and my breasts have already increased enormously in size and have gotten to be cumbersome and uncomfortable. Will they stay this way if I don't breastfeed? Also, will I at least be able to avoid sagging breasts if I don't breastfeed?

I don't think my parents are a huge fan of getting that done for my little girl. When she turns 2 months I am taking her to get it done.
I am 17 yrs old so would my parents have the right to not let me get it done for her? I mean she is my child so I should be able too.

One of my nieces is 4 months old, and I havent been able to see her very often but when I do she is very friendly, smiles a lot, etc. My other niece is 8 months old and cries whenever I hold her ='(. Everyone says she is shy with me because she's older and doesnt know me as well, but with my boyfriend who sees her just as often, she is fine. Another theory is my boyfriend is softer and Im just bony, haha. When my boyfriend is holding her Im able to kiss her cheeks and give her all the love I want. Is it possible for babies to be shy? Or does she just not like me yet? Or maybe Im bony? haha this is kind of a funny question, I just dont want her to cry around me anymore

My one month old baby will nurse and completly empty my breast and then a few moments later act like she is starving. I know she is getting enough because she has plenty of wet and soiled diapers and she is gaining weight. However it seems she is not getting satisfied, I know she likes to suckle so I try to giver her a pacifier but she is not intrested. Has anyone had this experience? I am drinking plenty of water and eating very healthy I also drink fenugreek tea to help with lacation. Last night I was up until 6am nursing around the clock and she would fall asleep then wake up a few moments later screaming. I am taking her to the Doctor next week just wanted to know if any Moms out there had something similar and what did you do. Thanks!!

I want to make my own baby food, but I also like the convenience of the very tiny baby food jars you can get in the stores. A obvious choice would be to buy some of those, feed them, and then just rinse and reuse, which I will do if I can't find another option. I just figured it would be cheaper if I could find somewhere that sells tiny glass jars like that. Anyone know of a place?

Thanks!

During the day its about 74-76 degrees F and at night around 70-73. Is that good or bad? I have heard a rule that if your baby always feels a little warmer than you, is that true also? My baby is 5 months old.
