I don't know why "I thought walkers were illegal, at least they are in Canada because of the dangers associated with stairs etc...." got thumbs down;
"The facts
Walkers do not help babies learn to walk and can actually lead to delays in child development.1
Placing a baby in a walker results in a significant risk for an injury. Thirty to 40 per cent of infants who use walkers will have an injury.2
Falling down a flight of stairs in a walker is the chief problem. In fact, children in walkers face a greater risk for injury due to a fall downstairs compared to other children.3
Children have suffered serious head injuries and death as a result of baby walkers.
Other injuries include fractures, drownings and poisonings. The mobility provided by the walker may give infants access to toxic household chemicals.
In Canada, there were thousands of walker-related injuries per year in the 1980s.
Are walkers still sold in Canada?
On April 7, 2004, Canada became the first country ever to ban the safe importation and advertisement of baby walkers."

So many people will tell you it is bad for them or dangerous. It is only dangerous for people who do not watch their children, the ages that kids are in walkers should be supervised at all times anyway.
Both my kids used them and I think they are great, my youngest was a holy terror in hers it was so funny she was like a little race car, she would have my oldest (they are 2 yrs apart) running from her. I do not believe they delay walking either, my oldest walked at one exactly, and my youngest at 14 months, a little later than usual but it turns out she had vision problems and its a wonder she walked at all without glasses, it does explain why she was such a terror in her walker because it balanced her. I think they are fine!!
My kids are now 6 and 8 and have nothing wrong with their legs and they were not in them all day but it was longer than 10 minutes. And they have been in T-Ball, Softball and of course PE in school and have had no problems with their legs. The fact that she already moves it back just means your daughter will probably be a go getter, my youngest has squirmed her way around since she was able, she army crawled and then could almost run army crawl before she learned to crawl the normal way.

She's fine. As long as she has head control nothing to worry about. You will get some responses that tell you NOT to use a walker ignore them. Remember a walker tod NOT teach a child to walk nor does it teach them balance. It does give them limited mobility that otherwise they would not have. Please dont be like some and leave her in it hours at at time. Ive read that on this site a mom leaving her son in for 2 hours at a time. Both my children used a walker my daughter only liked it for 10 minutes at a time my son used his a total of 5 times for less then 30 minutes each..Your the parent use your best judement.
NO its not going to mess up her legs. Thats a myth. My daughter was a micro premature infant and her PT even suggested putting her in one. My son was in jumperoo by the age of 3 months and I didnt put him into a walker til a little after that because I couldnt find one I liked. If they were "so dangerous and bad for babies" they wouldnt be on the market for all these years

Walkers are fine, but I think a three month old is to young to be in a walker. In my opinion I think a child should be able to sit up before using a walker. The backward walking is normal, a lot of babies do it when they first start using the walker. I would mention the walker to your babies dr. and see what their opinions on it is.
congrats on baby # 2

At 3 months it is ineffective on your baby. yet you already knew that. I used the walker that has the seat in it, while they have been sufficiently previous for it of course. I made specific that the floor became continually picked up, we did not have stairs, so not a controversy. All 3 of my boys could not stand to stay in one spot for long, so this became a lifesaver for me. Edit: earlier everybody starts off ranting at me approximately having used "those with the seat", this became 15-20 yrs in the past, and my toddlers have been in no way left unsupervised in it. They in no way tipped over in them the two. Plus with ANY baby product or toy, you're taking perfect precautions and issues are high-quality. additionally, my son's stroll high-quality, no issues brought about by means of employing a walker with a seat in it, Son 20 yrs previous, son sixteen yrs previous, son 15 yrs previous.

My daughter will be 3 months tomorrow and I ordered her a jumperoo yesterday (one of the ones that is like an exersaucer that bounces). It's a similar sitting position to a walker, but she can't push herself around. I think that as long as the baby has good head control it is probably fine. My little one holds her head really well and always wants to be in a sitting position to see what's going on, so I thought something like that would be perfect.

Wow pregnant again congrats and my praryers are with you in your times of frustration! Walkers are great for babys, as soon as they can hold there heads up on there own. I put my daughter in a walker around 4 months and now at 8 months she drives that walker better then i can drive my car! She was born with a slight bow in both her legs, but the Dr. told me its fine to let her walk in her walker and stand on her legs as much as she wants. He said its good for her muscles in her legs. He told me her legs will straighten out in a few years.
Good luck with your pregnancy and your 3 month old !

As long as she can hold her head up by herself properly, it is just fine! She is learning about her body parts and making them work. Just be careful if there are any stairs that she doesn't "walk" down them. It is good exercises for her legs and a way to start to learn

I really hope she has good upper body strength and complete head control. I really don't think you should have her in there at all at this young age. You should be thinking about tummy time and crawling, not walkers at this stage.
