Here are some good resources as to how much you should feed your baby:

That one article is really long - so here is the portion that goes right to your question:
The following information will help you learn how much your baby should drink each day.
First eight weeks: Your baby should drink 6 to 8 times a day during his first eight weeks. He will drink about 2 to 4 ounces at each feeding. He will probably want to drink every 3 to 4 hours. Wake your baby to feed him if he sleeps longer than 4 to 5 hours.
Two to six months: Your baby should drink 4 to 5 feedings each day. He will drink 4 to 8 ounces at each feeding. When your baby is 2-3 months old, he may begin to sleep through the night. When this happens, you may stop waking up to give your baby formula or breast milk in the night. If you are giving your baby breast milk, you may still need to wake up to pump your breasts. You may store the milk for your baby to drink at later time.
Six to 12 months: Your baby should drink 3 to 5 feedings every day. He may drink up to 8 ounces at each feeding. You may increase the time between feedings if your baby is not hungry. You may also start feeding your baby semisolid foods at this age, and add different foods over time. Ask your child's caregiver for more information on the right foods to feed your baby.
By the way - my child is 2 and I still haven't taken her to a movie! They are way too loud and a crying baby/kid is the last thing people go to a movie to hear. This is just my opinion - but no - don't take your baby to a movie!

I still haven't taken my 8 month old to the movies. And probably will never until he actually wants to watch movies. No, the ounces are right, my son was drinking 4 ounces at that age.

4 ounces is ok, when he is around 6-8 months he should start drinking more.
And about the movies, no it is not okay to take the lil one to the movies for 2 reasons, one is that his or her ears are not ready to handle the sound and second is because a lot of movie goers find it rude to bring a baby to the movies. crying, fussing, etc.

4 months is a good age to start your child on food. But start out slow. Try the cereals first and then once they get use to that start adding the fruits and veggies! Hold off on the juice right until the baby is at least 6-8 months! Good Luck!

4 oz every 3 hours or so would be age appropriate.
I wouldn't take your baby to the movies...you are just asking for glares and stares!
My baby is 10 months and do not plan on taking her to movies any time in the near future!

Don't disprupt other paying movie goers by taking a baby. That is not fair to everyone else, especially if your baby is fussy. Wait until they are at least 2-3 and only take them to kids movies. My son will be 3 in a couple of weeks and my husband and I have yet to take him. He is going on Sat to his first one.

well... if he's eating about every 3 hours, very normal.. the rule of thumb is 2 to 2 1/2 oz per pound per day..
As for the movies.. i don't see why you would.. But i guess it coulnt hurt.. don't be surprised if baby gets upset from the big bright light and extremely loud noise?

Talk to his doctor and see if he needs to eat more! You shouldn't take an infant to the movies, because there are a lot of germs and sickness that babies can catch from other people who are at the movies!

how many bottles is he taking per day? I am pretty sure he should be getting at least 26 oz per 24 hour period -- check with your pediatrician. and its probably not a good idea to take any child to the movies that young wait a few more years for that!
