i always make sure he's well burped, diaper not wet, try giving him his pacifier. but he's still real fussy like he wants more milk.. the doctors have him on a soy formula, i was also kind of curious if the texture was lighter and therefore making him require more??? any help would be greatly appreciated!

I heard it does. I heard this is one time where the woman goes through even worse pain than any guy who's gotten it where it hurts and rolled around on the floor in pain.

Is this true?

Is this especially true when the woman gives birth to a baby that weights at least 9 pounds?

My partner was a forumla-fed baby who had solids from as young as 5 & a half weeks!!!

He has hayfever, but no food allergies. Is there any other possible complications that giving solids too early could have caused?

How often did your breastfed baby eat at 3 months? Did your baby also sleep through the night? My baby is sleeping through the night and eating about 5-6 times a day.

I am 15 and will be babysitting for my parents friends for about 5 hours (from about 7 PM to midnight). I have never babysat before, but I am good with kids and have done it with a 3 year old but I was never technicall alone. Even though no one was helping me. The family I am babysitting for has a 2 year old and a 10 month old. The 2 year old is supposed to be asleep by the time I get there and I am to just put him back to bed if he wakes up. But, the 10 month old has to be fed and everything. Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do, how to do it, exc.
Thanks in advance for all help!

I just had a baby shower, and everything was lovely, but I now have about 40 bibs. My husband and I want to know how many bibs we will really need, if we will use that many or if maybe we should return some? How many bibs did you find useful with your children?

I hear all of these people say that letting babies cry is cruel. I think that it was the best way to teach my daughter how to sleep in her crib. For the first couple nights I would give her a bath and then put her down in her crib and she would cry for about 10-15 min and then she would fall asleep and sleep ALL NIGHT!! Then after a couple of nights everytime I put her down she would always be awake but she would NEVER cry and fall asleep all on her own. She is 3 months old. Now I don't understand why people are saying that it is mean and cruel. I know letting your child cry is not easy (it was awful for me) but now she knows its bedtime and she knows that she is not going to have mommy running in and out because she is crying, she knows that she has to go to sleep and she does. Does anybody agree with me or is it just me? I don't need rude comments, everybody raises there children differently so I really do not want to hear about what a bad mother I am for letting my baby cry!!

I need a stroller and carseat fo a girl. I hate having to pay the high prices for the sets since I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and am running out of money. It is the last of the major items I have to buy. I don't care if it's new or used as long as it is in very good condition. I will take any suggestions.

I'm a little over 10 weeks pregnant. I sleep on the couch. The only reason is that I find it more comfortable than a bed (my father is the same way). I sleep fine on the couch.

Now that I'm pregnant, is it bad to sleep on the couch? I find it so easy to sleep on my left side on the couch & its comfortable.

My 9 week old cries whenever I put him down. Even when daddy is home from work and holding him he cries and cries and then finally settles down, but then may scream again. He is fed and changed. I breastfeed and it seems that that is the only thing to immediately calm him down is to put him on a boob. Baby cries when I am in the shower (I shower at night), he will eventuall tire.
I play with him during the day and he smiles but if I leave him to long (<10 minutes) by himself he fusses and cries.
I am at my wits end. I may be returing to work soon and leave him with family, I also want Daddy to enjoy the baby, without too much trouble. Baby is calm now daddy is rocking him, but

Why does is cry to the point of mad panic when he is fed changed and burped?

He will nurse, drift to sleep then if daddy is here I will pass him off, then shortly he will cry and then scream. Only a boobie or persistence rocking him will calm him down. Why?

P.S. Not from a bottle, but a spoon.

Cause my son is 4 months and when I tried it last night he cried, but he is eating so much and I will not put it in the bottle. What should I do? Also, I tried giving him another oz. or so, but then he throws it up, as if he drank too much.
