I need a stroller and carseat fo a girl. I hate having to pay the high prices for the sets since I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and am running out of money. It is the last of the major items I have to buy. I don't care if it's new or used as long as it is in very good condition. I will take any suggestions.

It's not the best idea to have a used car seat unless it comes from someone you absolutely know and trust, hasn't been in any accidents, no recalls and isn't expired. Perhaps forego the travel system and buy a convertible car seat and reclining stroller. I know you can get fully reclining strollers from Wal-Mart, Target, Sears, etc for around $45. A Cosco Scenera is a great choice for a car seat and is about $40, available at Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and online. Most children don't outgrow this seat until the age of 4. Also, Wal-Mart has a very pretty daisy print for the Scenera.

Place an add on Craigslist stating that you need a gently used combo stroller that is not too expensive. There is always a lot of them being sold in the baby/kids catagory.

the one and only walmart we are getting mine there its not pink but different walmarts have different styles mine is winnie the pooh stroller/car seat set i think 150 or 160 which is better than used becuz its new and still a good brand but is not the 200+ that babys r us has

Check the papers and yardsales. Maybe go to some second hand stores. Check your yellow pages for those and call and ask them if they have any before you drive out. Good luck and congratulations!
