Relax, it's ok. Just clean your house and make sure your 9 month old baby will not grab any paper anymore.
No need to go to Doctor, if you are not sure about the chemical inside the paper, drink him a lot of milk to stabilize the chemical inside the paper that could be (less) harm your baby. Usually chemical on the paper is not that poisonous.

Tiny Piece Of Paper

Babies often eat paper and in most cases, it's nothing to worry about. Paper is fiber! :o)
I don't think you need to see a doctor unless there was something unusual about the printing on the paper, or if he ingested a large quantity - at that point I'd worry about the ink. Generally speaking though, a little piece or two of paper isn't going to hurt him.

he should be absolutely fine - it will all mush up anyway and is basically organic, so don't worry.

At 9 months, his digestion should be used to solids, so it sholdn't affect him.

You should worry about solid, not decomposable objects like marbles, dice etc and PANIC about magnets - especially if two are swallowed. They can attract in your insides and damange tissues. Those sorts of things are serious.

By a year, my daughter had probably eaten a whole book's worth of paper, plus a few woodlice, cat biscuits, leaves.... a few bits and pieces she shouldn't! She's a wonderfully healthy 3 year old now who has never been to the doctors.

I ate tons of paper as a kid. My eldest son ate a pack of tobacco when he was 3. He turned destinkt green, and through up. Another son ate chicken-**** for a while. We are all fine. Forget the doctor and eat some paper yourselv.

I would not think it would be too much of a concern. Just watch your baby over the next little bit if the baby starts acting funny or different than usual you may want to take him/her to the doctor. Hopefully you are just panicked for nothing and the ink was already dry before the baby got it. When my kids were little my biggest thing was them always stealing the dog food.

If we are talking small as in less than the size of your palm, he should be absolutely fine. If he starts to vomit or seems to have tummy pain, take him into the doctor for a check. If he is eating, drinking, playing as per usual, then you would have nothing to worry about. Kids do stuff like that all the time. It happens, just look out for symptoms should he have any.

he'll be fine.....all of my children have ate something that wasn't meant for little mouths....it could be worse...when my 3 yr old was about 15 months old i had gotten up to change him ( we were on the floor) and when i got up to throw the diaper away (he pooped) he went about his business. needless to say a piece of poo was on the floor ( little turd ball...lol) and guess where it ended up? Yep! in his mouth....

he's fine....as a mother you can't keep your floor or anything else clean enough for a baby...they can find things to put in their mouth regardless of how clean your home is....they are tricky little boogers!!

however, if it would make you feel better call your doctor.

Nah

If it was tin foil or something, that's more of a concern. But paper will pass through, as long as it was a small bit.

Don't worry about it. My sister's baby eats paper all the time. He ends up fine in the end. Unless he eats ALOT of paper with INK on it, then you should take him to the pediatrician.
