Hi~
I have a wonderful two month old son who is breastfed. I would like to try get him to take a pacifier. I have givin him one since he was born, but he really dosen't use it. He might suck on it a bit but that is about it! I would like to use it when I can't nurse or for naps or to sleep at night or long car rides. He also has a problem keeping it in his mouth. Any ideas or tricks I can try! And what is the best pacifier out there that babies love. Thanks for your help! It is 2:30 AM PST and I need to get to bed. He just went down for the night! :o(
I need my sleep. He used my breast as a pacifier for the last hour! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My exclusively breastfed 10 week old daughter spits up/throws up a lot. I've tried burping and keeping her upright as much as possible. It's not working.
I'm going to try dairy elimination for a while. How long should it take to make a difference, if it is going to? Do I need to avoid everything with even a tiny bit of dairy in it? (say a baked good using milk in it?)

Ohh my little one is teething already.. The only thing that seems to calm his frenzy is his fist.. the whole fist, which he eventually gags himself with, a bottle, or a blanket he crams in his orfice. Any remedies for my Pooh? He hates pacifiers.. and Oragel doesn't last more than 10 minutes.

I know this has probably been asked but all I find is teething toys and baby orajel. I was wondering if anyone has any homeopathic remedies or innovative ideas.
I hate seeing my little one suffer.....he sticks his hand in his mouth and gets very VERY upset when that does not ease his pain or his baby orajel wears off.
Any answers are appreciated! :o)

Hello, my baby is 1 month old. She has her days and night mixed up. She stays up during the night and sleeps during the day. I heard it might be because she is use to me moving during the day when i was pregnant so she fell asleep and then at night she stays awake. We try so many things to keep her up during the day but we are unsuccessful when we try to wake her up. Any one have any ideas how to keep her up during the day? Any advice will be greatly appericated.

My son and his girlfriend have used every colour imaginable, and the room is full of toys and stuff. Does anyone think this might impact on the baby's calmness or not?

My son is sixteen months old & is a late teether. His first tooth came out at thirteen months! Now, it seems, they're all coming out at once & the poor kid is in pain. OTC infant medication does nothing for him, he hates his teether....I'm at my wit's end. Please help!

After my daughter was born and administered the usual testing procedures, she stayed awake for several hours when newborn babies should've been sleeping. During that time she looked around at the people inside the room, and her eyes appeared very focused and alert. Is this normal behavior for a newborn?

I like to give my five month old a bath everyday not only because he loves it and likes to play with the bubbles and his rubber ducky and bath books, but because he's a sweaty sleeper and his hair doesn't stay clean looking/fresh smelling more than a day. :/ My sister says I give him a bathe way too often and I read that it's not necessary to bathe a child more than every three days.. ??

And no, I don't really care if others think I'm raising my son wrong, I do the best I can.. but I don't want to do anything potentially harmful, either (though I can't really think of why this would be)

Did they become smaller or bigger? Did your breasts also become saggy?

Also, how did you stop your breasts from producing milk? I am currently on my 3rd month but want to stop after a month or two.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I have used Pampers swaddlers on my son since he was born, now he is going into a size 3 and they don't make them in the swaddlers. So, I bought the Pampers baby dry and they are rough as hell and don't stretch very well. I liked the swaddlers b/c they were soft on his skin and had good stretch. Does anyone know of a brand that is almost the same as the swaddlers but in bigger sizes?
