I know this has probably been asked but all I find is teething toys and baby orajel. I was wondering if anyone has any homeopathic remedies or innovative ideas.
I hate seeing my little one suffer.....he sticks his hand in his mouth and gets very VERY upset when that does not ease his pain or his baby orajel wears off.
Any answers are appreciated! :o)

My baby is teething as well and I give her these tablets, and they are homeopathic:

also I have some "teething toys" they are called, you can freeze or just cool the soft platic end which is filled with water, and the baby can hold it by the hard regular plastic end. The cool part of the toy helps them relieve the pain from teething as they chew on it . So far these have worked for me :-)

Good Luck :-)

Give him the oragel and a teething tablet. The oragel gives the tablet enough time to kick in. They can be found in most grocery stores and drugs stores now. They are little white pills that dissolve immediately and are WONDERFUL! I wouldn't have been able to get through teething half as nicely as I did without them. If baby has an upset tummy with his teething, try chamomile balls. You can get them at health food stores. Both of them are fairly cheap too.

Jerky worked great for my daughter! We bought her the toughest jerky we could find, in a plain flavor. She would just gnaw away happily, and it would help cut the teeth faster, plus releive her.

Oragel wore off too fast, and she didnt like cold things for more than a minute or two. Jerky saved us all a lot of tears! Just give your child a big peice to hold and gnaw on. Make sure that it wont break off into little pieces, and obviously supervise so he doesnt choke. My daughter did great with it. Good luck!

ok what does an adult take for 'pain'? aspirin usually....however its not recommended for babies...give your baby/toddler some tylenol. also, at GNC there is a teething tablet (from hylands) that contains chamomilla...harmless and it realllly helps!
my first son suffered fever and sleepless nights until i found this. it dissolves in the mouth. you can also make some weak chamomille tea with a bit of sugar...room temperature is best for drinking. dont give the baby extreme cold or hot food or drink but you might let him bite on a cold carrot or celery stalk with your supervision. happy parenting! peace

The homeopathic pills that I am using are called - Calcarea Phosph 6X. This is German make and I am sure you can get it where you are staying as I am getting them in India.
The next is giving your washed finger to the baby to chew on. That will help him. Helped my son.

my mother in law gave my daughter a stalk (would it be considered a stalk? i dunno...)of green onion. I know it sounds weird but it pretty common among hispanic families. She said something about it numbs her gums. It made her breath kinda stinky, but i'd trade her suffering for stinky breath any day... just cut off the very end and wash it well.
