Yes, that's okay. Babies get fevers after shots. 100.8 is a low-grade temp, and not much to worry about. If it doesn't go down in 24 hours, call his pediatrician. If it's really bothering you, give him some Tylenol or Motrin.

It's normal to get a temp after the shots. You should really read the info sheets they give you at the clinic or doc office, they should even tell you how much Tylenol or Motrin to give. I would only give the meds if he seems more cranky or whiny. A warm bath usually works, it helps the swelling go down some, and a bath is just kinda soothing. If the fever lasts more than 2 days WITHOUT change then it wouldn't hurt to call the doc first thing Monday morning. You can find all sorts of info on-line about those shots if you don't have those sheets though. Hope this helps!

that's not seen a fever till your toddler's temp reaches a minimum of a hundred.4 deg. If it gets over 102, your baby develops a rash with the fever or turns into torpid it's time to be certain a doctor. i comprehend fevers are frightening yet attempt to consider they're actual a stable situation - the physique's organic protection against viruses. a somewhat raised temp could be brought about by employing teething (some human beings say that's not a threat whether it may take place every time my daughter grow to be approximately to get a the teeth in).
