I did the same as you so don't worry. My husband drenches our sheets and pillows at night and our daughters just had to take after him. Mine got baths everyday and sometimes two or three times a day. It would depend on if they got messy, took a nap and woke up stinking, etc. The biggest concern about bathing a baby everyday is that their skin will get dry. If his skin isn't irritated and you're putting lotion on him, there's no problem.

Sounds like you are doing a great job. Mums know best and if you think you are doing a good job and you have a happy and healthy baby, you can't be doing too much wrong!! I give my baby a bath each night as part of his sleep routine and because by then he is a bit sweaty from a busy day. If the night is a bit cool though, or he is very tired, I might skip a bath.
If you do wash frequently, just use a mild body wash so bubs skin doesn't dry out, or on alternate baths, instead of soap just use water.

My 2 year old is such a handful but she also is a very tidy baby girl. I really don't bathe her more than twice a week right now since she usually doesn't need it more than that. Of course with her playing outside more now that the weather is getting warmer that is going to change. You should know if you are bathing your little one too much if he gets dry skin or irritability. If you have a sweaty baby then it should be fine to bathe him daily as long as you make sure you use gentle soaps. Generally I go with when my daughter needs a bath and not a set time frame.

I bathe my baby every 3 days so that I don't harm her skin. I think it is the best thing for her.
However, my nephew is quite the sweater at night, so I can empathize with you there. He's 3 and has sweated since I can remember, so get use to it. :) I think if you apply lotion after every bath, there isn't much of a problem. If you ever notice dry skin or red patches, that is a sign that he is bathing too much

My son was an every other day baby until about 7 months- then I HAD to bathe him every day. Now he is almost 10 months and I bathe him every night before I put him down for bed.
If you are worried about him getting dry skin- just apply some lotion after you bathe him. (Helps with that new baby smell too hehe)
Don't listen to what your sister says. It's your baby! You are NOT harming him by keeping him clean.

You are his mother and u should go what you think is right. nothing will happen by bathing your child every day. Just apply baby lotion after, thats all. We all need to bathe daily including babies. We bathed our kids as babies everyday and they were fine. Bath time is also a lot of fun!

I bathe my baby every other day. But I don't think there's anything wrong with bathing everyday. The only thing that might happen is dry skin, so just use lotion.

I bathe my 22 month old son and 3 month old daughter everyday and have since their umbillical stump fell off.
I think the only thing negative thing that can happen is dry skin, so just make sure you are using gentle shampoos and cleansers and afterwards, pat your son dry gently and then apply lotion. I prefer Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion for babies...my kids love it and it is great for sensitive skin, as well!

I have 6 month old twins and i bathe them both everynight before giving them their last feed and the i put them down for the night. It really relaxes them and calms them. I always use a moisturising lotion on them afterwards to keep their skin nice and soft. All 4 of my children were bathed everday.

i think of a bathtub each and every night in the previous settling down is a stable concept. It gets toddler right into a recurring that can proceed for the time of formative years. It makes them experience clean, only think of the form you experience in case you didn`t bathe or bathe daily. Its no longer that adults get particulary grimy yet epidermis sheds and desires to be bumped off with a bathtub or bathe. Getting a recurring early on in existence can keep various heartache as toddler grows. detect somewhat one lotion which fits his/her epidermis yet use it sparingly.
