The Bebe Confort Loola is supposed to be really compact (link below) but the easiest way to find out which is the best pushchair for you is to go to your local mothercare or to an independant baby store and ask them if you can try out the various different makes and brands. Most shops will let you take pushchairs, car seats etc out of the store (under supervision of course!) so you can see which fits best in your car. That way you can chose one on the basis of which one feels most comfortable as well as on size.

With such a small space, it will be hard to find a stroller that reclines. Have you thought about looking into baby-wearing? You could use one of the more mainstream carriers (baby bjorn, snugli), though the way they are designed puts a lot of pressure on baby's pelvis. Or you could try a sling, mai tei or wrap carrier. Babies really benefit from being held close to their parents, and newborns are so light - it's easy to carry them. Not to mention most carriers fold up small enough to fit in your diaper bag!
Check out http://www.attachedtobaby.com and http://www.thebabywearer.com to see all kinds of carriers/get more info.

Joovy says on their information superhighway website they do deliver the international over, a minimum of that's an decision in case you do not have it available over there. I actually have the ultralight cabin automobile and that's a magnificent stroller!!!

Try one of these: http://www.micralite.com/.
When you find a stockist locally, ask them to try it in your car. They may in fact already have an answer for you!
