My daughter has a little bunny that has teething rings for the hands and feet, I picked her up from daycare yesterday and it was covered in peas from her lunch. I took it home to wash it, and read the care directions on the tag, it said not to immerse it in water. So I "spot washed" it as best I could with some organic non toxic baby detergent. It took me about a half an hour, and is still air drying as we speak. How do you wash your childrens soft toys?

My son is now 9 months old and I started feeding him toast and grape jam about a week ago. He now has a rash on his bum that appears to be sore (he squirms alot when I try and wipe him) is this an allergic reaction and should I stop feeding it to him, or is it just his body getting used to new foods?

my mother has a baby who just turned 7 months and she feeds him everything from ice cream to pizza and he couldnt be healthier or stronger. Now, my baby is 3 months old and I am debating as to whether or not to let her try some food. Like when I'm eating things like applesauce should I let her try some. I'm just looking for some opinion. Thanks

ok my first daughter(she is now 7) i could put in her bouncy seat/swing and get things done during the day.. we just had our second baby (she is 3 weeks old) and i'm getting really worn out and frustrated- because she constantly wants to be held. It seems like I can't get ANYTHING done- because she always wants to be held. She hates the portable swing-- she hates the bouncy seat-- she hates the papasan...

she's eating well.. getting burped.. plenty warm..

i cant even step outside for 5 minutes tohave a smoke.. or take a shower.. or make a decent lunch-- i need some advice.. because by the time oldest gets home from school & dhhome from work- im completely at the end of my rope..

will it get better? am i doing something wrong? could i be doing something better?

My 3-month old is turning into a wonderful sleeper. She is sleeping 10+ hours straight a night.
Unfortunately, my breasts seem to be used to her former 3-4 hour
interval feeding schedule. As she is sleeping soundly, I am in major discomfort with engorged breasts. I let her sleep as long as I can, until I can't stand it any more. I am not really getting much sleep as I get so uncomfortable after just a few hours.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

my 3 month old got a cold from her older sister. she started off with very mild fever (not higher than 100.5 rectal) then a runny nose and a mild cough. I took her to the paeditrician who told me that her chest was clear and that she had no wheezing. now as from yesterday her cough has gotten much worse, and i don't know if it is croup.what does the cough sound like when it is croup? the doc gave me saline drops, and a syrup for blocked/ runny noses. he gave me nothing for the cough. i will be taking her to him again if the cough will persist. the sneezing has stopped and she has had no fever for 2 days now. she sleeps well at night and only coughs when she is awake. any help please?

My ex asked me if she could take out three week old in a 16 hour, 1100 mile car trip to Florida. Just strokes me as a horrible idea, but since I really dont know I would appreciate feedback. If it is ok, how often should they be stopping to rest.....etc.?
