I had two 3D ultrasounds. One at 20 weeks & the other at 28 weeks. My son is now 7 weeks old and if you look at the 3D's that I had done at 28 weeks it looks alot like him. It is amazing! Good luck & congrats!

have not had one but will being having a 4d sexing scan at 16 weeks then another 4d scan at 22 weeks from baby bond if you search the net and look at some of the pics they look amazing

I had one at 12 weeks as part of my nuchal scan. The baby isn't fully formed then so looks find of scary - bit like an alien!
You should avoid any unnecessary scanning in pregnancy because it exposes the fetus to radiation. So you should avoid having scans done just for fun or just because you want to see the baby.

i'm getting one carried out at 30 weeks. Mine is usual and lined under my coverage, so i'm not sure how plenty it expenses. yet i might say it somewhat is unquestionably properly worth it. My usual practitioner does one with each and every lady to ensure the toddler continues to be growing to be on objective and to ensure if toddler has a tendency to be larger or smaller than usual. i don't advise getting one carried out earlier this time, even no remember if it somewhat is loose. My rfile says the terrific %. are at approximately 30 weeks, supply or take some weeks. Congrats on the brother or sister.

I had a 3D one and it was awesome! I loved it! My baby looks just like he did in those pics!! I had mine done at 29 or 30 weeks!

They are awesome it is like looking at a picture you can see so much detail I had one every week because I was high risk starting at 22 weeks until my twins were born at 28 weeks.

my wife had a 4d scan at 26weeks and it was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. We had our scan at a babybond clinic and the quality of the pictures were great.

i was 16 weeks when i had my 4d ultrasound. and it was well worth it, the package we got cost 140 dollars . i could tell almost exactly what she would look like. she starting sucking on her arm, it was so cute. it was one of the most memorable parts of my pregnancy. we got nine pictures, a video and a cd of the ultrasound.

No disrespect to anyone who has had these or wants one but personally, I find them very freaky!
A friend of mine had one done & I thought it just looked very scary! lol
As I said, no disrespect intended, thats just my opinion.
I am unsure of how many weeks u need to be to have one, sorry.
Congratulations by the way, if its u who's pregnant!!!

I don't recall how far along she was, but my daughter-in-law had one. They are incredible. We could even make out the baby's facial features really clearly.
