im pregnant with my first child and i dont know what to name him please help or if you know another way to spell it that will help.

It's a strong & mighty name in the Bible with meaningful meaning. Great for a boy that will later grow into a man.
You can always ask the Lord to reveal to you what name He would like you to name your baby. God will answer.

My grandpa was Edwin Isaac.
Isaac can be spelled Isaak.
There was an "Isaac" on the LOVE BOAT...remember?
Isaac is a last name in Mississippi. We have a huge Choctaw population and their last names are like Amos, Jim, Isaac, Sam, Jimmie, Ben,....and other first names.
I taught a child named Isaiah Isaac.

When my husband and I found out we were pregnant we thought for sure it was going to be a boy, and that's the name we chose. We both loved it. We went to church one day and the pastor read a passage that said "you shall have a son and he will be called Isaac", we thought for sure that was a sign. To our surprise we had a daughter, I would not trade her for the world, we named her Madeline. Anyways thought I would tell you the story. Its a great name and one we would have used it we had had a boy. Good luck and congrats.

I like that name. I like names that are from the Bible but if you would like more insight on who Isaac was in the Bible then you could read Genesis 23 thru about 25.
